FOnline open test

Unity doesnt kil random fellas...
You either penetrated unity/enclave territory without permission (navarro is off-limits guys..), disobeyed one of the orders or behaved stupid in a way worth of punishment (looking at you lexer!).
if you steal or fight other players this might lead also to the unity killing you.

There was some nasty incident on the new main, former secondary, server today when redding was talking really mean stuff about the masters mother. besides that, unity never kills without beeing attacked or in need to uphold the law.

This game is very fun! :P

Have been having some fun with my brother ;P. We did some gangster buisness in Klamath. Looking for people in blue jumpsuits :P. When we found one we waited for him to enter a house. Then I ran in the hose and my brother blocked the door, then I search my victim so what he got on him. If he got anything good I first tell him to drop the item on the floor and we let him live :P. Otherwise I would send him to olbivion with my mega powerfist! mwhahaha

Noone walks safe in klamath when BRUTE is alive!

I also have some feedback about the beta:

You can only use skills like Lockpick, Steal, Doctor, First Aid and such ONE TIME. Then, you gotta rest. Time's quick for steal, I don't know the others. Personally, I think you guys should take out any using limits per X-time for certain skills. First Aid and Doctor would be great if they got some massive overhaul to be REALLY heal someone. Lockpick would be great against looters and scavengers, get some stuff into somewhere, lock it, then watch n00b scavengers get angry.

Sometimes, mad lag makes hitting people weird. There was one time where I could't hit shit, even with good skill.

Sometimes, people go and help people being killed that they should't help. Bishops should't help Salvatores that are being atacked by players (rather, make lasers pretty strong, ask Magnus how to do it, they're pitful even against leather amor) and vice-versa. If you hit some guy in Reno, I think just his buddies should go against you, not everyone in town. Cassino Guards and Bouncers should only deal with troublemakers inside their establishments.

No possiblity to rest with the pipboy at all, even when outside towns. In fact, it's too hard to get a nice healing unless you go to Redding. I think Doctor and First Aid characters should have a great advantage towards other chars. Can you implement this, guys?

I think there's almost no ammo to go around. Maybe you guys could implement more ammo, but make merchants charge more for it? Quicker restocking could be a blessing too. Say, restocking each 60 minutes is okay, I think. Maybe stuff could be REALLY expensive, so, if you wanna buy for cheap prices, rise barter and CH? I think ammo should't grow on trees and fall out of the sky, but as it is now, those who do not use Unarmed usually have large problems. Fallout should have more ammo than the road warrior, but nothing too abundant, I believe.

I think it's too easy to get Power Armor. Maybe Power Armor should be acessible just for those that REALLY earn it? Navarro is a no-man land because of that, by the way. Everytime you go, you find some russian PKer or some group (Enclave, Unity, BOT) scavenging for Power Armors, guns and victims. It's kinda cool, but I think it's too easy to get Power Armor. Enclave quartermaster must be lazy or something.

I find that stats like CH, IN and LK are dump stats.

Are you guys going to add special punches and kicks, like in Fallout 2?

Maybe the possibily to make traps? Uber-Trapping the hell outta a locker with all my stuff would be awesome.

What about the possibility of hiring mercenaries and recruiting party members?

A more elaborated party-with-people system? What about that?

Many places to scavenge would be cool, too. Not dungeons, dungeons suck. But abandoned Military Bases.

Maybe the hability to make maps and pass 'em to your teamates?

Team-mate trading better implemented?

Fights with humans and other things in the wastelands.

Maybe a place where there's no PKing, so noobs won't get totally slaughtered by people in Power Armor?

I think it's all for now! It's has been a pleasure playing this great Fallout MMORPG, which is pretty diferent from other MMORPGs. Freedom, PKing... makes a great atmosphere. With fan feedback, freedom and Fallout fun, this can make a great game.

Heh, wait. Are you the guy from Klamath? :) Note: I don't wanted to kill you, just a little bit roleplay. ;) I have the capacity to kill other "weaker" players, but I don't do this because I think it is a waste of ammo.

/Edit: And because of the Untiy, of course. Because the unity is the good and the perfect.

Hey, so make damn sure they know the Unity DEMANDS a cathedral. With some vats. Less rats, more Vats ! Thats our slogan.
I would die to send new recruits steal some children in the Den, bring them back to the Cathedral, and make them give flower on the front. And guard/nightkin killing everyone who hasn't a purple robe. The brotherhood and the enclave may have some bunker too. Yes i know, i demand too much, but human controlled faction could bring a lot to the game! Oh and if you need a mapper, don't hesitate to send me an mp. I am good at brotherhood bunker, modifying map and such. Oh and you should think about using Josan new frm too!

I think the object get spawned twice a day. And I see a lot more than 16 powerarmor in the game. I think they come more from some dev or GM, same from the cars, I have no idea where they come from.

I try to be there today. Server 1 is nearly 24/hours a day dead so I think, we should took more attention to server 2 (the IP 80...) Maybe we should go to our safehouse in Den?

The master will be pleased by us.

Yes, I read it, but for me it is server 2 because server 1 was the first. ;) For me, server 2 is now the main server. At least for the last few days.


Btw. Fonline is the first MMO after Ultima Online, to what I am really addicted. Cool. And it is only a early beta...

Well, some of us wanted to ask you a Price of Blood in order to forget the Bloodshed (I got killed while i was off! I didn't even knew them! :D . But I think we could easily convert that for the head of Wild_qwerty and fa2241. After all, they openly declared war to us... (ierk, ierk, ierk... :P )

I kinda know... But I have very good memories of the game till now, and I begin to be a little tired, many Unity members are busy,I won't be here tomorrow...
I wouldn't mind to play with less people, maybe more english speakers, more Rp oriented...
If there really isn't anybody, I sure will praise the Unity on the other server. But it will be harder to build something.
Let's praise the holy flame anyway....

What maps do you need or better: how exactly works the mapping? Is it like Fallout 2 mapping, is it with other tools, how are the scripts,...?
Because, maybe I am interested too. My main reference would be my fallout 2 mod shattered destiny.

Anyway, there is need for communication between russian speaking society, devs and the english speaking society, so +1 to the idea of having english speaking forum here, on the nma.

I am having a problem with that patch, when I use it, everytime I try to play f2 I crash to desktop after the loading screen.
I think it's because I also have a program called orcad pspice in my computer that uses the same file type, right now my critter file is a probe document type. Any idea what to change ?

that can't be a problem, look elsewhere. i am an IT guy i know it :-)
 
Yep you are right, I just did a fresh install and it's working with the same type.
I have copy pasted the fixed critter file into a fresh install and it's working now, dunno if it will serve anything.
 
and btw there's no Brotherhood of Testers anymore)) our leader, Vampire, ceased his leadership and right now the leader is me)) if someone in our team is against it - we will discuss it and settle this question)) so right now we have no name and not much staff either)) we're thinking about our background and roles in the Fallout world))) so from now one we are allied with the Unity!))
