Unity diary day 4
Saw a rad scorpion today, terrible creatures!
Unity diary day 5
Today I regained contact with another Elder of the Unity, who was in spiritual retreat till then.
He told me he heard of a big fight in Redding on some Russian radio. We went there and started scavenging the remaining corpse, in the name of the Unity. We made a prayer for the falling ones, of course.
Made it to the Den. There we met a man who had heard of us, and who wanted to join the Children of the Cathedral. As we were talking about the greatness of Unity, someone started shouting my name. I didn’t recognize the person, or at least not precisely, but I decided that it was better to take off, so we started running to the southern Gate. The guy followed us, shouting me to stop, which I didn’t, of course.
The three of us were also heading to Unity Village. On the way, something weird happened. We get separated brutally. Suddenly, I was alone, but my friends told me they saw me walking on the sea! The Master must have something in mind for me.
We regroup at Unity Village. There our applicant had to pass the Trials of Unity. We asked him three questions. Any false answer would have meant his sacrifice; we are very picky about that. Luckily, he succeeded and passed the Trial. We gave him some gear, because the Master said, “Help yourself!” and we are Unity, so Unity have to help itself.
After some travelling, we established a camp in SFcenter. After a while, Gordon, another Unity elder arrived!
He told us his adventure, he had been stripped of his Power Armor as he was resting at the Cat’s Paw, and had just woke up today in the Den…
We were then rejoined by a man named Dakhanavar. He was showing us all his weapon, rocket launcher, sledgehammer… We were considering “borrowing” his stuff for Unity purpose, but because Unity is polite, we asked him first who he was.
It appears he was a person who had already travelled with Unity members and was considering joining. Unity is very “fashion” nowadays. Anyway, his repair skill being very useful, we went up to Unity village to perform the ceremony, but hadn’t the time too.
Ho, and something funny happened to me too. I was by Tubbie, to buy some stuff, and some weird guy was blocking the exit. As I was kindly asking him to move, some other guy told me he had an alien blaster, and that it would be a one shot. So we kept looking us in the eyes during some times, till he finally moved away. That was funny. He was brave enough to provoke us, but not enough to shoot first. He would make a fine Supermutant thought.

Reno City Chronicles: A Robbers Fate
Met up with Dak today he gave me a pistol then told me to protect myself out here in Reno.
Dakhanavar..the guy everyone wanted to be, a wealthy business man.
Now I knew what I had to do! Living in the waste sometimes theres only one way to survive and for me it was taking what I wanted from whoever had what I wanted.
I was flat broke and was feeling the hunger, I wanted to be like Dak nice clothes,women caps always in his pockets.
Then you have me... some broke street bum with ragged smelly clothes without a cap to his name!
Night hits the Reno streets so I loaded my gun and headed out.
Perfect target in sight some drug dealer hanging on the corner.
Thoughts go through my head and I clinch my pistol tucked away in my pants.
I need to come up in these rough streets of Reno, times are hard and someone must feel my pain.
I run up on this skinny leather jacket wearing punk and ask him for a pop(Jet).
He smiled and fiddled around his pockets for some vials and I quickly draw my pistol ..but before I can say anything he shoves me and steps back... pulling his pistol out of his jacket.
Right then I knew that for the first time I would have to kill a man.
Mind cloudy I squeeze the trigger...I see a quick flash and all sound is blocked from my ears!
I fall to the ground ears ringing,cold,unable to breathe soon I start to feel air and taste blood pouring down my throat..
Could this be?? No!
Can his hand be quicker than my eye???
This cant be..not now..how...why??
My vision blurs as I see the dealer hover over me..cursing.smurking. Soon after Im looking up into the barrel of his gun. A hellish flash accompanied by sound of thunder rings through my ears...

Watch out brother! The raiders are becoming really intelligent. Yesterday it was very close for me, I saw already the light of the dark dead. It was in Den. I watched some guys with leather armors in the small church. I went to them and was looking a little bit. Then I found out: They are arranging a trap! On of them puts some nice items on the ground in the north corner - if somebody is entering the church for taking up the stuff, one of them blocks the door - so you are trapped. Then they will talk to you, they want to have you stuff. If you don't give them what they want, they will kill you.
It was very close for me because I wanted to enter the church, but luckily I didn't. So they got some other guys, but not me.
