FOnline second open test started

You don't need to do anything to FO2, just copy master.dat and critter.dat to the FOnline folder. And the music if you so desire.

So it's fallout2 patched to an falloutonline version?

So i dont need to dig up my old fallout1 copy?
 
It's an entirely separate client, but you need to copy files from Fallout2 into the FOnline folder for it to work.

It is a complete new game that uses the same graphics and (most of the) mechanics from Fallout 2.
 
That's just the thing, these were wasteland brahmin. I think it just goes with the stories of people dying to rats and geckos. How does one get levels again?
 
this makes me sad i am at work doing overtime, this almost sounds like a Fallout-mmo, a hardcore one at that, with PK'ing and perma-deaths and all

after second death 'passing through the prison guard turret view zone' is quite hard minigame :D

I got it working(was quite easy, like getting scumm games to work)
But, i know zilch russian, will i need to take a russian course, or is there a way to set the whole game's language to english?
 
The Unity failed tonight...We tried to ambush some Russians while they resupplied in front of the Cathedral...It went terribly wrong. God I love this game ! :twisted:
 
Could someone tell me where to go as english speaker ?

And where is the cathedral exit zone. :?


Edit: i cant even read the english manual, it wont open.
 
Got it to work, first thing happens is me dying to guys in enclave armor shouting russian

Edit #3: I had a quick question; How do i delete my character, or is there no way?
Also, is there ANY bastion of hope, i mean english on this server, or is there ONLY angry russians running around?

On both server they are a Branch of the Unity, kinda the only english presence right now i think.
On the second server, see with Scypior or me (morpheus) to pass the initiation. We still use the public channel 2.
On the first, ask Lexx (I think :D )


On the second server, the Army of the North enforce the law in klamath and the den a,d sometimes modoc. You can ask them for protection.

New Reno can really be dangerous for an innocent bluesuit...

Yes, It was very nice, because it was kind of fair-play. Not usual playerkilling. We just tried to take over supplies.

And later, most of our team member spread out through wastelands to start over again, but I came back to cathedral, as a diplomate. They were standing there, 7 men in Advanced Power Armors (ours too :/ ), but they had no plans to kill me again. (In the end they did it, but it was probably some stupid behavior of one of them, not deciding about they overall attitude).

Nonethless, I came back again. There was one of them standing there, and keeping an eye of some stuff they left for us. (Not our most important stuff, but some basic items that would help us to start again). They even were willing to keep others from looting it.

That is why even we loose terribly, I'm not even pissed off, it was fun.

PS. Seeing cvet entering Hell and killing turret with one unarmed shot was kinda cool, too:)

PS2. But even in such moments there is time to...

The Unity likes to make nice line ups. :P Even if it wasn't 100% the Unity. :)
