FOnline second open test started

My first impression after 2 hours of playing is this - there's a lot of retards running around and attacking blueshirts. I didn't earn a single XP point yet, but then again, all the time I had to run around avoiding stuff instead of getting into the action. Maybe tomorrow I'll do something more productive.
 
If you want to survive, find help. You can usually find help in The Cathedral. Then go and try to kill weak low-level shit. Rats and small scorpions are easily killable. What are your skills?
 
Small Guns, Energy Weapons, Speech (yeah right :|). I landed in Redding, not a lot of people trying to help blueshirts, and lots of people killing eachother. If only the worldmap was faster, dying wouldn't be so much of a lose. Whenever I'm trying to ask for help I get attacked without a reason. BTW which frequency are You people using? Is it channel 2?

HTTP downloading sucks. It's the wrong way to share files, really.

For the people looking for help, please precise the server.
On server 2, try the channel 2. It aint the primary channel of the Unity, thanks to all the funny people, but we are still surveying it.
Atm the cathedral aint really our base anymore, but you can be safe there, the enclave guy wont kill you without provocation.
I am gonna make a little pause of the game for now. Too many mindless killing, and too many level differences.
 
nope, no luck.

i think you have zipped only the folders, not the files in the root folder. there is no .exe.
that's why your file is only 16MB, when it should be more than 35.

I'd rather not torrent it. We don't need more accidental players killing server's throughput and increasing the numbers of dumbasses.
 
I tried to comm with some people from the Unity on channel 2, even went to the Cathedral, but I only met Malcolm from Unity and we weren't able to contact anyone else. Is Unity still alive? Have most of the english-speaking players gone away?
 
Man, server 1 is too damn unstable. It's disconnections galore, and it makes for weird stuff during gameplay. Aside from that, I always get attacked by NPC's once I enter the cathedral. Some time ago me and some other people had a fight with them, and now, whenever I come close to them i enter combat mode and they start following me. I got killed by them several times, I killed them too a few times. I tought this would solve the problem, but no. If they respawn and see me near them, they start attacking. i get to the point where I can't leave the cathedral until I kill them all.
 
Unity is still alive, we are only a little dispersed. I usually go to the cathedral from time to time but I'm always missing a radio. Man, hell should have free radio dispensers.

If you are on server 1 (77.etc) then I believe the Unity is on channel 501. However, some of it's higher ranking members recently deserted to form an independent group.
 
So..the 2246 year has passed, and some wastelanders decided to celebrate New Year's Day. It was quite fun, but it ended like always. Advanced Power Armor with Pulse Rifle + booze = Violence. Only few survived the night, and few have died even before noon:

that's what i thought the first time i played it and still i
think the same ....

moreover NPCs are so strong that only
thing you can actually decide is to be killed by
NPCs or retards humans .......

lack of fun .....
lack of game.......

I'm still level 1 but we can start killing dogs if you want.....

Town NPCs are that strong because in last open test it was a kind of "sport" to kill them as fast as possible... also they gave lots of exp and weapons. They are not that strong because of nothing...

Also it is still just a beta. Seems to me like some people think it is something final. The actual "base defending"-minigame has been includet approx one week before the second open test started.

In a group it is pretty fun. We (some guys and me) leaved the Unity on server 1 and founded our own smaller and better organized group. Now we are the strongest english speaking group on this server with pretty good equipment.
