FOnline second open test started

I'd say it's very hard to start, but once you get to the 2nd or 3rd level, everything is much easier... If one use his head.

In the beginning, the best thing would be to go to the Cathedral (north of Modoc) and stick to the northern part of the map. Kill rats and pigrats, level up.

There are always good people helping others, you might have luck to stumble upon them.

Also it is still just a beta. Seems to me like some people think it is something final. The actual "base defending"-minigame has been includet approx one week before the second open test started.

In a group it is pretty fun. We (some guys and me) leaved the Unity on server 1 and founded our own smaller and better organized group. Now we are the strongest english speaking group on this server with pretty good equipment.

If someone wants to distribute them, just tell me, i'm energy weapons/unarmed/repair anyway and The Unity must not falter!


edit: had to run, some suspicious guys with combat armor arrived, though i didnt understand anything of their russian. I'm one square west of Klamath now. Are the cities safe or anything goes if you are too slow? @ ccino i'll wait a bit with selling, at least the armor and some of the ammo could be of need to someone. If noone wants anything i'd say you sell the stuff and we split 50/50 ;)

So..you are guys playing on server2? Amorphium too? Why haven't I met you yet ? Unity needs new initiates for doing some tasks. Good initiates, capable of doing such things like....getting some robes (ok, it is the most simplier one;) We'll figure out some harder tasks).

As for selling, I can do that too.
 
question:

does jinxed and chem reliant work?
they're greyed out in the manual, same as barter, which however seems to work.
 
ok, how do you use the banks? i'm in modoc in front of a room with lockers, there's a guys standing in the door, but i can only barter with him, insult him or say "bye". It's the building with The Unity flags all around
edit: yeah, i'm on server 2 too, the one with .111 as last digits of the ip?
edit2: do we have a radio frequency to chat together or do we have to spam here in the forum? ;)

You've met me - I'm the guy that was given a PA at level 1 by a Russian a few days ago. Today I was PK'd by two English speakers without warning, and I've got a hunch they were Unity.

As for freq, we have our secret freq, but I will try to listen the 2nd channel as often I can so we can contact.

The banks are all in the underground. Search for a manhole or so. If you are in it you see lots of guards in combat armor and a dude in robe. If you want to put money on your account, you need to go to the terminal. if you want to stock items, you need to talk to the guy in the robe, give him 100 caps and you can enter the room. Then stock your items on the locker where the guy inside of the room is going to (in all other lockers the items will NOT be saved).

Mostly. A whole lot of idiots started running around and PK-ing "in the name of the Master" and naturally, this got a whole bunch of russians upset. A small war broke out with casualties on both sides. Some people didn't like what the Unity had become, so they decided to break from it. It's just last night that I managed to talk with some russian people, CEKTOP being one of them, and agree on a cease-fire. People were killing each other over language barriers. But the unity is mostly in shambles on the first server.
Like Lexx said, there is an english group that's pretty strong and helps out newbies. Just don't go around killing people, it's not nice and it can have bleak consequences for others. I mean hell, I've had my share of being killed by russians and losing good stuff to them, but I don't run around and whack all the bluesuits I meet.

That aside, the 30 second limit while trading was indeed a bitch. Glad to see you guys raised it to 70 seconds with the patch.
 
You can't move a char from one to the other server. You can create more accounts on one server.


@dhomochevsky: You are sure they rised the timelimit and not you rised your barter skill? Because the timelimit depends on it. If you have great barter skill, you get up to 99 seconds.

I personally scroll the list until i find what i need and if the time is nearly over, I click on "talk" and then on "barter" again. The scroll position stays.

Game client was updated. Main fonline.zip archive was re-packed, please update all mirror links you have.
Those who already downloaded the client will need to download and unpack this patch into the client directory.

someone in leather armor armed with a rifle is "guarding" the cathedral atm, anyone want to help cleaning the filth out of our hallowed halls?
 
I need client i can't download it from rus servers please help me i have this shit... problem and my download stops on 10 mb f... it please help me give rapidshare link because none is wrking good
