Well, from what I gathered, the save doesn't make a huge difference, really.

Playing an alchemist is more challenging than a swordsman, but in a weird way. In certain fights, especially in Act II where you don't get to use potions, there's a lot of "oh shit" moments that are a cakewalk as a swordsman. On the other hand, the rest of the time it makes the game much easier. I guess if one had prior knowledge of what's to come, it'd be possible to find some sort of happy balance.

Have recently attempted to enjoy Fallout 3 with mods. I eventually managed to get the game stable enough to enjoy after a few days of tweaking. I have also been working on a "Future game" concept for Fallout which is primarily located around Detroit and the Great Lakes. No real reason for it other than boredom. I like to throw around game ideas in my head and see if anything sticks.

Well I'm creating a new save more for the roleplaying rather than the changes besides I've never done the Order path in The Witcher. I imported a neutral Geralt that had fallen in love with Triss, and sided with the squirrels in TW2. Now to do Roche's I want a character that isn't in love so I can choose any option not to rescue Triss with a free conscience.

I played on normal and other than the boss fights and one or two monsters (bloody Endrega Queens) it wasn't that difficult. The first boss fight wasn't too bad, only took me three attempts, but the other 3 fights were fucking ridiculous I had to drop the difficulty down to easy for each one otherwise I'd be still be stuck near the end of Chapter one.

The Order path wasn't bad, but it's the one that kind of makes the least sense, one of the main enemies being the Inquisitor and all. The Roche path in TW2, on the other hand, was a lot of fun, I happened to do it first and probably liked it more than the other one.

The thing with the boss fights is, if you have a specific skill or piece of equipment, it's a cakewalk, but if you don't, they can get pretty challenging.

Guys, No More Heroes was some serious shit! Despite the crappy gameplay and controls it had some of the coolest and wierdest moments ever.

If you own a 360/PS3/Wii and are looking for something unique you should definitly check this game out.

Edit: Also, started playing Brütal Legend, the single player campaign is pretty well done, if a bit too MTV-ish, but the 'open world' elements serve simply as a distraction, nothing more. It's pretty obvious that the guys at Double Fine aren't really made up for that kind of stuff. The RTS elements aren't all that bad, sure they are simple, but still fun nevertheless.

Also+ I think I don't need to say much about the soundtrack...it's really really awesome.

After the recent Steam sale, I decided to finally give Stalker: Call of Pripyat a chance.
And it's actually pretty damn good so far.
No bugs, just a few graphic glitches, good gameplay, no damn faction war...

STALKER:CoP is easily the best of the three. Best-balanced anyway. A shame they canned the sequels.

Just beat the World Of Goo demo, considering buying it. I was a bit unsure about the cutesy oddball humor but as the plot developed I actually started enjoying it. It's a bit discouragingly unpolished in places (especially the controls) but overall it was a very fun two hours. And the obvious Yoshi's Island inspiration is a huge plus.

It gets better, though I've only played the Wii version so I can't accurately judge the PC version (controls, etc.)

I can honestly say that it's one of the best Wii games ever made though.

    Do buy World of Goo.
It's a great little game, one that can take away hours of your life. Granted, it can be frustrating at certain moments, but it's still fun.
Controls were okay for me. At some levels you have to be careful when moving you're mouse, especially if it's very sensitive, as it can ruin your whole work, but that rarely happens.

I may give it a replay. To be honest, I've never actually finished it. I can get little impatient with such games, or simply lack the time, so I make a longer pause from it, and then lose my will to play.
    Annoying habit.

I finally got fallout 3 to a playable condition with FWE,MMM,and Enhanced Weather. I also changed the music to the classic Fallout 1 and 2 score.I had Fallout 3 running at High setting with plenty of great mods. It still wasn't as good as New Vegas even with mods, but it was pretty fun.I tested it for several hours, and it seemed to be fine. I had put a few days into tweaking it just right, but I still would suffer from numerous crashes.
After downloading the Klite codecs and adjusting a few settings,I thought I could finally make my character, and really enjoy the game. I go to load it up.....CTD. I check the load order and it is fine. I restore to previous setting and a earlier load order, but I am greeted with another CTD. I change everything that I did, but it crashes. I disable all mods and it crashes. That means I am fucked. This is the third time this has happened to me.
I have had the worst luck with modding Fallout 3 on this computer. My previous computer was running Xp, but now I am running Windows 7. I just got the game running halfway decent and it craps out again. It should not be that hard to get a game to work. I am pretty decent with computers, but I cannot get Fallout 3 to run modded without tons of hours of fucking with it. Is New Vegas as bad on PC as Fallout 3 is? It crashed a lot on 360 I know.
At any rate.....Fuck Fallout 3. Fuck Windows 7. That being said, I am looking forward to the Fallout: New Vegas GOTY Edition, but I hope i have better luck with it, otherwise I may break my computer.....
Endrant. I need a joint.

I agree with you completely. It takes a full day to get all the mods you want where you want them and then it's just blind juck if they all work. If they don't work thats another full day maybe more researching and troubleshooting. Add to all that, the games have always been unstable in the first place.

Anyway I'm playing Men Of War: Vietnam. It's like the other games in the series. Frustrating controls make it slow for me (suck at RTS) but I enjoy it if I play tactical.

I am currently playin LoZ Ocarina of Time 3D on my nephew's 3DS, Ocarina is a good game, i am actually trying to beat it quickly so I get the master quest mode, I already played this game 3 times in the past.
Am I the only one that hates the stupid Owl? was he always this annoying? he is like an oversized Navi always repeating me info I already knew everytime I get sidetracked with a side quest.

Just bought and installed Witcher 2. I love the game even though my computer doesn't do it justice, but during the first animated cutscene it has crackling and popping audio. It's always something with me and Pc games. I looked for a fix, but found little to help. Suggestions for disabling certain DirectX audio enhancment setting don't work since I have Windows 7 and dxdiag has not setting adjustments.
I have a suspicion that my shitty onboard soundcard is part of the problem along with my Radeon HD 6570 and it's mediocre 1GB of dedicated memory. Even so I would rather play Witcher 2 with bugs than ANY fucking console game out right now.
I do wish I wasn't having audio problems. It is making me want to upgrade my computer, but I don't think it is my computer since people with awesome rigs are having similar issues. Oh well. I recently bought Fallout 2 again, and I am looking for mods or fixes. The core game was a bit buggy for me in the past, and I have never played it fixed or with mods. Any suggestions?

Is it just the cutscenes that have the problem? I know you're looking for fix suggestions, but eh, you could just skip it and look it up on Youtube or sth. I remember I also had them lag out for no reason (same problem as a few other recent games, too).

Hard to say. For me, FO3 crashed consistently every 30 minutes, while FO:NV wasn't so consistent, certain areas were worse than others, with New Vegas proper being the worst. Probably didn't crash as often overall, though. No mods.

I didn't having crackling noises in Witcher 2 but the sound levels did seem to fluctuate a lot. I moved the volume sliders down to five and at times it seemed my speakers were about to blow.

I haven't played FO3 but New Vegas was fairly stable for me, a few random crashes here and there. Only one area had me holding my breath each time I passed through as it would crash eight out of ten cats, that was the outskirts of New Vegas near the old mission.

Yeah it isn't anything game breaking yet. I do need to upgrade my computer a bit, but it meets the recommended specs. Seems like every Pc game has problems nowadays. Nature of the beast I suppose.

after a Star Wars marathon with my girlfriend I got a huge urge to play Knights of The Old Republic 1+2 again. clocked in one and a half hour of the first so far, with only a few crashes... kinda sucks that these games are a pain to run in Windows 7.
