Mostly stuff on the GTA V thread on GTAForums. Fanboys mostly defend V using vague statements like "it has amazing gameplay" and "Trevor's filled with character", and tend to act as if their personal opinion is fact. Kinda similar to how Bethesda fanboys use vague statements like "The game is immersive".Could you elaborate?
I've also noticed some use the argument that plot isn't worth as much as gameplay so plot development should take a backseat during the games' creation. Personally I think both should go hand in hand honestly. For example, this is the response one user gave when another said that a game should focus on it's proper gameplay elements rather than throwing everything it physically could in blender style:
"I would rather get it all in one, huge, varied, and wild story! I mean, I am paying you $59.99, for Christsakes."
"It laid it all out in a gorgeous, stunning, varied tapestry that I can easily get lost in to this day and probably for years to come. The best thing I can say about GTA IV is, "Yeah, I played that. Now I am done."
