General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

I guess the gay dragon-faggot Xi Jinping is flexing on Taiwan by having 'Devotion' censored from releasing in the west or anywhere but Taiwan.
(This guy has the physiognomy of a Toad and sounds a bit fruity)

I have been playing Jurassic Park World a little. A decent game for 5 dollars but no more than that.

No the name is Jurassic Park Evolution. My bad.

I finished New Vegas Bounties and The Inheritance.

The first three (including TI) were great.

The last one unravelled, ESPECIALLY for the last quest. The Boss is bullshit, he has a DAM modifier or something. His own weapon ain't worth spit but he downs you in three shots while you'll be lucky to do the same. That's if you can get to him as every other NPC frizzles out and goes '...' or you're stuck waiting for something to happen.

Needs a bit more polish.

I might go after those other quests soon, that other mod series, but New Vegas Bounties III, eh, finish I and II and leave it at that and TI and the stuff like that. Though the Ghoul and Mutant had me in stiches.

Also the end perk gives ME MORE DAMAGE? I'M LEVEL 50! I'M ALREADY ONE-SHOTTING DAMN NEAR EVERYTHING.

Been playing Aliens versus Predator (2010) and it's actually a pretty solid game. Really a shame that it seems to have been forgotten over time since it's one of the better games in both franchises. It specially makes that Colonial Marines bullshit game from Gearbox look even worse.

When I'm not swamped with work I'm fairly certain I'm going to replay Death Stranding.

Climbing the mountains and trekking through the snow whilst listening to this song is probably one of my favourite memories of gaming, ever.

Recently, I played Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin.
I already played the game plenty of times when I'm collecting achievements.
Now, I still found the game frustrating, but quite enjoyable yet endearing.
Over the years, I found Dark Souls 3 to be quite the disappointing entry of the DS Trilogy (despite the bosses, soundtrack, and the Ringed City) because of the fact that the poise system is off on consoles, there's weaker magic, the multiplayer is somewhat imbalanced, and the majority of the game is rather a nostalgic compilation of the previous 4 games; Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, and Bloodborne than an actual sequel like Dark Souls 2. (despite what the community say about this game, there are others that love DS2 more than DS3)
Dark Souls 2 isn't suppose to be the same as DS1, that's why the game is quite mysterious and epic, but also a different beast than DS3.
I know the DS trilogy has been talked to death, but I wanted to hear about what you think.
Which Sequel is better? Dark Souls 2 or Dark Souls 3? Let me know, okay?

Yeah, but I feel it leaned into more of a 'LOL PREPARE TO DIE XD' design attitude that people attribute to Dark Souls and ends up being more frustrating yet easier in some cases than it needed to be.
Then again, it aims to improve on what Dark Souls is lacking, to better or worse results.
Besides, I've played Dark Souls 3 soo many times and looked at the development of DS3. Then I realized, it's nothing but a lazy rehash of DS1 for the most part, which incorporated elements from Demon's Souls, DS1, DS2, and the gameplay & graphics of Bloodborne.
In comparison between the two sequels, I found DS2 to be the best sequel to DS1 in my eyes. Because at least it has an original story and tried to be different from its predecessor, while DS3 doesn't even bother just for the sake of "Fanservice".

Been Playing a bit of Mars: War Logs, it's middle-market jank but I find it enjoyable.

You might want to give The Technomancer a try then. It's made by the same company and takes place at the same time as Mars War Logs.

Just finished Fallout 2 and started a new character on Fallout 1.5 Resurrection, though I'll probably put that off to play Golden Sun Dark Dawn.

IS Technomancer akin to NV? Customizable character, endings, the like?

Character creation is limited (male only and you always have a noticeable face scar) and you get 4 skill trees. Guardian typical sword and board tank, Warrior uses a staff, Rouge uses dagger and gun, Technomancer is more of a sub class that enhances the others. It's best to focus on one class or you'll never be good at any of them. There's different endings based on what factions you favor and other choices made. Don't expect it to be as good as NV, it's a decent AA game and is only $5 on steam until the 5th.
