Currently on Mass Effect 2. These are fun games but damn, some of these mods are so necessary for QoL, and the writting is really spotty, specially when they try to marry making social commentary with still having single culture aliens that are also stand ins for non anglo-saxon cultures at the same time. Eh I guess it was a different time.

I got Control for free but I can't bring myself to open up whatever launcher it uses.

Bought the Halo Master Chief Collection. I think the last time i even played any of these games was maybe like 10 years ago where i played the first and the second. Gonna go through those two to refresh my memory and play the others for the first time.

I still have vivid memories of back when the first Halo came out, friends of mine were getting an Xbox just for Halo. A friend of mine would bring his Xbox with Halo and some other games (Lord of the Rings Return of the King is one i remember) to my house and i would play it and he would play with my Gamecube (He would play Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon Gale of Darkness since those were my first Gamecube games). Also definitely remember the hype for Halo 2 to the point i recall someone i knew bought and beat the game on the same day.

Getting this collection triggered a bunch of memories that i thought i had forgotten.

Finished Halo 1 and 2 on the Master Chief Collection and i'm actually having fun. Playing on Heroic, still dying quite often (enemies spamming explosives certainly contribute to that). I think i actually like the first game more, but that's most likely nostalgia bias because i played it a lot more than 2.

Playing these games made me realize just how well a two weapon slot limit can work and how Bioshock Infinite fucked that up.

Pokemon Legends Arceus comes out this month, it feels unreal.

We don't even know if BOTW2 is even gonna come out on 2022.

Anybody ever heard of this old NES game? It's one of my first dozen or so games I ever played.

What are you playing?
I have Cyberpunk [never installed] and Cuphead on backlog while I have been playing Interplay's Blood & Magic; presently starting the Harvest of Horrors campaign.

How can it even be most anticipated when we know nothing about it?

...

Ayeah, normies. I actually forgot about the crowd that sees a CGI trailer that tells you fuck-all about a game and then get hyped to oblivion.

Oh well, hope it's trash.
