General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

Doom II on the Skulltag source port - Modding it.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Loving it.

Fallout 1 - Never leaves my hard drive.

Quake 4 - Not a damn clue.

Currently playing Kings Bounty Legend. And I must say the guy who did 2D art did amazing job. The game feels so nice. Its the little touches that make this game so good.

Second game on hold Witcher EE. Currently near end of Prologue, will continue when done with Kings bounty.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R OL + ARSENAL good way to relive stress.

Yeah, it still holds up well. These days I can max it out too, which is nice.
I am playing:

Baldur's Gate 2
Fallout 1
CoD4
STALKER Clear Sky
Crysis Warhead

S.T.A.L.K.E.R - Oblivion Lost (Never leaves my PC nowadays)
The Withcer EE (my first witcher experience, not sure how to feel about it yet, pretty fun so far)
Clive Barker's Jericho (I know it's repetitive and cheesy game, but I'm still determined to finish it, monster design is awesome though)
Splinter Cell Double Agent (just recently managed to get into it, didn't like changes from previous SC games at first, but now I'm enjoying it a lot)
Titan Quest Immortal Throne (the best Diablo-clone I've ever played)
Trials 2 Second Edition (cause it fucking rocks)

I'm playing Hitman - Codename 47 lately. I'm in "Say Hello to My Little Friend" getting killed by the sheer ammount of colombians. Reaching and Killing Pablo is easy, I just need to shoot him just before he shoots, so he'll not taunt. The hard part is getting out of the house. I went though the windows and killed everyone I could see. Even the guys in the towers. Then I got out the house and was thoughly gunned down by AKs.

STALKER and Warhammer: Mark of Chaos (working on the Chaos campaign now. The Order campaign had a good story and everything but the heroes were kinda blah. Undivided Sorc = best hero so far)

trying out Warhammer Online right now. thinking about playing Fallout 1+2 again but I think I'll wait until after Fallout 3.

You do realize that it is much easier to stay alive if you don't draw that much attention to yourself?

Agreed, Hitman is NOT FUN if you play it as a shooter. It's all about finding stealthy ways to kill. Then the game really shines.

It's almost impossible to completely sneak through the first Hitman.

I've beaten that mission Slaughter is talking about many times, none of them have been accomplished without killing nearly everyone in the level.

I try to stealth kill as much guys as possible, but this mission is NOT particulary stealth. There are six guys who are easy stealth kills inside the house:

1º and 2º Two guys in two small corridors, pretty near the main hall, but piano wire kills them both silently.

3º Guy in a room near the hallway, near 1º and 2º. Piano Wired him.

4º Guy in a room near the hallway, going down the corridor where 2º was. There's a guy just outside the near door, too. I doubt I can stealth-kill him without making a ruckus.

5º After 4º, you will see a small door to the hallway, with a guard just in front. Pass that guard, then go into a door just to your right. There, another guard. Piano Wire for the win.

6º The guard in the hallway.

Then the guy near Pablo's office always sees me when I try to drag 6º inside. Ultraviolence time. I wonder if he goes hostile if I go above and stealth-kill the guys in the rooms near Pablo. I think there are three or four guys in those rooms. There is even one in the 3º floor, after a ladder. Hmm, I think I'll go play and try that now.

Last night I almost managed to enter the drug lab. I had to use the windows to kill all guys in towers I could hit, kill some guys in the ground, which atracts soldiers. Then I would shoot them with Pablo's little friend. I remember I killed a lot of soldiers this way. Going outside is pretty bad, though, because of the towers. That minigun is awesome to kill people far away, though I prefer the M60. I died near the drug lab when my minigun ammo ran out, sad stuff.

The Suffering (now it's a free game - Midway released it as a abandonware I guess. Link for those interested http://www.gamershell.com/news_60914.html ).

I had it from a game magazine, but lost the CDs somewhere (guess I lended it to someone and forgot to who) before I could go further than 2-3 hours of game. Damn, I forgot how awesome this game is.
