General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

Jsut finished Prince Of Persia and i must say that it was quite good and the graphics were really one of the best i have seen so far!
The gameplay reminded me of Assassin's Creed a lot(minus the jump and run sections).
can'T wait for the DLC.

What's there to be ashamed of? I'm still on NFS3: Hot Pursuit. Never liked the newer games :(

Hmm, I think you should at least update to NFS: High Stakes. You still have hot pursuit mode plus all the NFS3 locations are included again. Unless I forgot something, the only thing better in NFS3 was the music.

rented and finished Quantum of Solace in 1 days. at some parts of the game the graphics really looked like a ps2 game! the game was also quite short(4 hours). definitly not worth purchasing.

Stronghold: Crusader.

I naturally play slowly with this game since I like to simulate what an actually siege would be like, with tons of horseman slaughtering the enemy's production and farming peons while assaulting the castle and the structures inside with siege weaponry, slow and methodical.

So I got to the last Historical Campaign and on the third mission of the last campaign you destroy one enemy only to have the other one spawn a fucking giant horde of macemen.
My swordsmen moved so slowly I couldn't even get them back to my stronghold in time to save my damn crusader.
That was about an hour of play down the toilet, god damn son of a bitch.

I loved Stronghold Crusader. Stacking your walls with crossbowmen and watching them slaughter the enemies troops during a siege is great fun.

Saints Row 2, highly amusing and some of the humor in side missions is hilarious. One thing tough, driving mechanic leaves to be desired.

Unreal Tournament 3. Just released a new patch and DLC. To make it better the DLC is free which is bloody rare nowadays.

Drakensang, best cRPG since BG2 people ! :)

Highly debatable. Especially since BG2 is hardly a good RPG.

As for me, I play Dawn of War 2 on Patriarch level of difficulty (the highest one anyway) and now the game is challenging at last. On Sergeant I lost only one mission because I accidentaly called an orbital bombardment on my units in a defence mission. Aside from that, I play FEAR Combat (FEAR's multi kicks ass) and KotOR 2 with shitload of mods (I finally did a DS playthrough and finished it as a chick) Don't know why I keep replaying the game, but it rarely leaves my harddrive.

I'm currently playing through Red Dead Revolver, it's a hell of a lot of fun. But whoever decided it was a good idea to place NO checkpoints in the Traitor chapter is a bag of rot.

Your crimes cry out for justice. None may stand against it. It will shatter every barrier, sunder any shield, tear through any enchantment, and lend its servant the power to pass sentence. Know this: There is nothing on all the Planes that can stay the hand of justice when it is brought against you. It may unmake armies. It may sunder the thrones of gods. Know that for betraying justice, I am your fate. And fate carries an executioner's axe.

I see you just took a class on literature in the Romantic movement there Chris Avellone.

Tell me when you pass your introductory level philosophy class with a sparkling "A+" as well, way to go bro!

I bet you thought I was going to use it in this post, it was the perfect opportunity, it really was. It would have struck like lightning, and you would have had no real response, because you set yourself up for it.

But I didn't use it in this post, why? Because I am skilled. I can promise you though, you will see it again, many times.

hmmm, the prince of persia epilogue is out, i would love to see how the story ends but the epilogue costs 10 fucking euros and it only takes about 2 hours to complete. a complete rip-off. this is something that should have been IN the game, instead they want you to pay 10 euros just to play 1,5 hours more to see how the game ends, FUCK YOU ubisoft!
