I just learned that October 27 was also the birthday of Captain James Cook, the famous explorer, cartographer and navigator. He played a crucial role in the English defeat of the French in Canada by enabling access through a treacherous channel for General Wolfe's army.

December 5th - turning 22!

What kind of an age is 22 anyway? As a Norwegian MILF once told me, I have a very old soul... I've never really related to my own age group, save for to a few close friends who to me have a perfect balance between seriousness and immaturity that in my opinion makes for a good and balanced individual, regardless of how many years one has experienced wasting - or rather, how few years one has until ones ultimate demise.

I wanted to go to the states when I was 21 just to enjoy the sweetness of being allowed to gamble and buy liquor over there (even though I've done it for years in Yurup), but I never got around to it. As I see it, I don't really care about my age, but I guess 25 is the next 'goal', when I will finally start to die slowly, even though Death has been counting my years on his abacus since I was born. Joy is me!!1
