I didn't imply that. I said that they're complaining about competition, yet they put me in a position against all of NMA, creating a competition. Otherwise it'd just be someone giving their opinion. So a good title would be GG's views on NMA, or something along those lines.

I bet you'd be complaining if the topic were called anything else too.

No, I'm just complaining that the admins contradicted themselves.

The problem I see is that just as many spam threads evolve into something meaningful...

Conversation and discussion is an organic thing, and restricting it in any way restricts the free flow of ideas. If the consequence of free speech is wading through spam to find the nuggets of usefulness than that's a price I'm willing to pay.

Well if the admins keep it as it is, everyone has to pay that price. I think it's more up to the people to think things through a bit more.

I made the "vs." title, not an admin, so they aren't contradicting themselves. It seemed appropriate at the time as you were setting yourself up as being against the majority of threads in GD, thus the majority of posters here - though the title now is better.

I certainly don't expect you as an admin to change things based on what a couple people say. I would assume you'd do what you think is right for the community, that's all I can expect of you.

And, for now at least, the community thinks NMA is just fine the way it is. Sure there is spam, but not at an intolerable level. And don't think people here aren't trying not to be intelligent and/or serious. Look at welsh, he keeps us up to date on almost everything and many intelligent and/or serious debates result from his posts.

But since we can voice our opinions and whatnot, I did. I don't expect anyone to act on them, but it'd be nice.

That would be like me going to Osama and asking him not to hate America. It would be nice if he said ok, but I'd probably end up dead the following morning.

offtopic: about your comments on Zoe's av.: you got problems with Neon Genesis Evangellion? keep them to yourslef, discussing people avatars isnt realy on the topic either.. and not really nice too, i colud say, "HEY GG! your avatar is small, and so is your brain".. you see.. while people wrote their reply to what you've said no one really asked your opinion about thier avatars..
