Can you romance a robit? If not then
-"4/10 can't initiate sexual intercourse with a machine"

I'm only joking, I'm intrigued about it. Is it supposed to be an RPG and what perspective is it in? Teaser trailer was interesting..sexy robot chick murdering people, interesting..interesting indeed. :D

Oh I forgot to add or is she like Adam Jensen and heavily augmented?

I'm sure when CDPR are done having to show up to get awards for TW3 they'll get onto Cyberpunk.

I heard that now that TW3 is done they're working full force on Cyberpunk, aiming to release in Q4 2016. Dunno how trustworthy that is, but I certainly hope that it will turn out true.

I know TW3 still has the Blood and Wine expansion left to release, this quarter I believe, so I'm hoping for late this year early next for Cyberpunk.

Welp, Even though fallout is pretty much dead to me untill either fallout: Project Brazil or another fallout title is announced from obsidian. I'll be playing the witcher 3 and gearing up towards one of my new interesting Sci-Fic RPGs set to come out soon!

Soon is a good joke. As far as I have read, they just started working on it NOW, more or less and we can't really expect any real information before 2017. Particularly if what they say is true, the typical drivel you know, you loved Witcher 3? Just wait! 2077 will be better, bigger! And more awesome! Not that I have any reason to doubt them, but still. Marketing is marketing. However, I think there are still a couple of years ahead, before we will get the game. I mean seriously, a decent game takes at least 2 years to make, if not even 4. I know, I know, the boys and gals at Obsidian made a miracle in 18 months, but it's really not the same.

Isn't Cyberpunk 2077 going to have character creation? That's as far as I've heard. I'm still in the fence, but there's a chance I might ditch observing Bethesda completely if this game turns out to be what I've always wanted.

Here's hoping for a grasp over getting to build your own character more than there was in the Witcher. We might have a competitor for open-world RPG with character creation and skill building for next-gen, now.

Yes, CP2077 will have character creation. It will based on the CP2020 source books for PnP. There is no way, from how ambitious sounding the game will be, that it will be done in a year when they've only started work. They've talked about literally having the origin and plot stories from the source for each individual class you can choose. So basically the things you do and the start/endings are supposedly going to be entirely different based on the general class motives/background. Basically one-upping Bioware's limited one character/but different backgrounds in Mass Effect or DA:O and knocking it out of the park.

They are also doing some pretty innovative stuff like voice-language differences with cultural groups in-game. Like, let's say you come across NPCs speaking Chinese, the game will not give you a proper translation of what they are saying (even in subtitles) unless you have a proper cyber translator mod, or your character just happens to be intelligent enough and 'learned' some other languages in-game, OR you just literally happen to know Chinese for real.

Woah, that will take fucking years to make something good like that.

I just don't like the way people keep saying that, that it feels to them like it didn't have 4+ years of development time. Cause when I roll through it I can see why it took them 4+ years to develop the game.

The Witcher 3?

I think part of the problem is that Beth has been making this kind of schlock for the last 15 years or so. You really can't consider them amateurs by any standard. And yet, a company like CD red, with less funds, less people, less experience, blows them out of the water with almost all of their games. I mean no mater if you take TW1, 2 or 3, each of those games is better in beeing an RPG than any of the Bethesda titles. What ever if TW3 is the perfect open-world-RPG, is a whole different story. But compared to F4 it deserves the title goty.

While i overall agree with your post, CD Red has the twice the personel Bethesda has. And paying less for more skilled people.

Bethesda pictures itself as a small yet unique studio. In truth they do anything but unique nowadays so it's high time that they should turn into a generic AAA studio with 2000 workers. At least their games would be polished and finished(in less than 7 years.)

I suppose we're expecting CP2077 for 2018 or 2019, then? It would be remarkably symbolic to finish in 2017 (for that numbers touch) but I don't see it happening. CD Projekt RED goes for quality, and they're not going to compromise with dates.

Bethesda's mistake, I think, was to try and appear impressive by having the game release the same year as the E3 reveal. I think they should've had the game under development for half a year more first. But then, I'm not sure how much difference it would've made.

No difference, the leaked script proves that FO4 is what they want it to be.

I think Bethesda revealed the game way later than most companies. They probably did not rush the game. And I am definitely not expecting a 2017 release for Cyperpunk, unless they have way more of the game done than they are letting on. A 2018 release is much more likely.

:irked:

If Fallout-goddamn-4 is a product of Bethesda taking it slow and easy, and doing things patiently, then I have no hope left for any future games they make whatsoever.
