Gun Control

A person like that is incapable of talking about firearms in the first place. By their logic we should all be using muskets.
It was some ESPN sport journalist on twitter. Once people started mocking him with the "The 1st amendment should only apply to the quill and manual printing press because that is all they had back then" he went and hid himself because being wrong and stupid is too much for these people.

He's trying to be nice but doesn't understand how fucked everything is.

Guns exist and are everywhere, therefore we should prevent people trying to protect themselves to be able to be as effective as everyone else.

Yes, if everyone took lessons and actually cared to learn how to shoot and how to respond to an emergency situation. That would be pretty awesome. But not even that is a mandatory.

So you have situations where people are runing around with weapons they don't even know how to operate. In some states it's more difficulit to get a car than a gun. And I am not even talking about registrations or licenses here.

As I once heard a gun-owner saying, if you ever decide to pull out a gun then you have to be actually ready to pull the trigger or it can even become a liability giving you a false sense of security.

The other story are the people that take their guns out there to >hunt< criminals and end up killing innocent people.

Jesus Christ, Crni the Subway Vigilante was like 35 years ago and The Punisher isn't real. in fact...

None of this is real.

It's pathetic; they are become like Team Rocket, or like conniving teen characters in some boarding school anime series; out to get the other team by hook or by crook, and with all means justified... no matter what, no matter how low.

This is a perversion of ''Toe the line".

It's more than pathetic it is scary. People on the Left act like that fucking bullshit right there is not the normal for the big media outlets. Keep that in mind next time assholes when you want to use CNN as a rebuttal.

It's really starting to be more and more reasonable to look into a concealed carry license and -gun in certain areas.

A jogger in Arkansas was raped and killed by a farmer recently, so I would say don't go jogging in the sticks, and don't let your kids play outside unsupervised in cities where people catch things on fire when they can't use their words.

I love, I really really really love it how this discussion always ends up in hypberbolic statements. Like no one. Absolutely fucking no one here wants to take away guns.

The point is just that when you make the argument that every citizen should be armed to protect them self while not also training every citizen accordingly in how to operate the fire arm and actually how to respond in a situation where they are threatened or even a gun fight might take place, then you will see issues. And just talking about it is equal to "THEY WANT OUR GUNS!".

I don't even ...

None of this is real.

Of course it's real. Do you want to tell me trigger happy people don't exist? Don't be obtuse. I am not saying every gun owner is like that or that you should tak away guns.

But why is it near to impossible to talk to you people rationally about such things?

Collateral damage.

Humans gonna human. People die. Boohoo.
Yeah right I know! Fuck those bystanders that got caught in the bullets flying around everywhere. Do you guys really want something like Beslan, Russia where even civilians started shooting at the terrorists which held hostages in a school or something?

Civilians 'began siege shooting'

A key negotiator from the school siege in Beslan, south Russia, has said shooting by armed civilians provoked the final slaughter of the hostages.

Ruslan Aushev told the Novaya Gazeta newspaper that the civilians had opened fire at the school after an explosion sent children streaming out.

The captors told negotiators by phone they were going to "let off the bombs".

Hurled into a chaotic situation, Russian commandos suffered heavy losses when they finally fought their way in.

Then those in the school said 'Right, that's it, it's time to let off the bombs'

Ruslan Aushev
Mr Aushev, former president of the neighbouring Russian region of Ingushetia, was at the hostage rescue HQ on Friday for the final moments of the siege.

A day earlier, he had helped negotiate the release of 26 people, including babies, when he personally went into the building.

The shooting by the irregulars - described by Mr Aushev as an "idiotic third force" - started a chain reaction, he said.

Armed men had inserted themselves among the security forces surrounding the school. Some are believed to have been fathers of hostages inside.

Collateral damage I suppose.

what a brave controversial stance you take. Dumb People exist, change my mind. Such a trooper. Talking about Manhunters then shows the Ahmed Robbery thing. fucking brilliant.
Of course it's real.
No see what you don't understand is none of this is real. It is all a construct. A fabrication inside the mind of a child.

The fuck? I am not trying to change your mind. Because I am not trying to take anones gun away.

Are you complaining that I am merely pringing up a point in a discussion, get of my back. Serouisly. I hate this smug passive aggressive attitude. Honestly what's your god damn problem with what I said?

My argument is that if you want more people to own guns then you have to also consider how to handle cases where people get guns that don't know how to use them or situations where people overract, act out of fear, basically doing police work and so on. A gun isn't just something that can protect you, it also comes with responsibilities. Or am I wrong here?

this smug passive aggressive attitude.
The ironiest of ironies. also pretty sure I'm pretty blatant with my shenanigans.
Honestly what's your god damn problem with what I said?
Less of a problem and more of a error that needs addressing. You try to bring up vigilantism while using the Ahmed Robbery incident. that was a couple idiots trying to catch another idiot after he broke into a construction site. that falls under the purview of interventionism, which don't. just don't.

Yes. No shit Sherklock. But when 90% of the posts in an actual discussion are like that, then it's really a problem. Since when has NMA become the central collection area for edgelords? You don't have to act like this all the godm damn time.

So you're saying vigilantism in the United Steates doesn't exist? Do I get that right?

Look all I am asking for is that you don't have to be edgy all the time and that it's possible ot have civil discussions. Ok?

Better example (IMO) is the Newhart finaly, but it only makes sense if you have watched the original Bob Newhart show.

* Bob Newhart recounts the dream scene, and mentions the ST. Elsewhere ending—that was badly received— as a concern about their own plans.
