I should really offer my opinion here rather than keep joking around.

I've grown up in a country where guns are very uncommon, those who have them can't get hold of them easily and have to go through a complicated process to even apply for a license. The only other way is converting a imitation gun into a real one (obviously illegal). Since gun culture doesn't really exist beyond illegal guns, I personally can't understand why anyone would want to buy an assault rifle.

That said, who am I to say the Second Amendment doesn't have any meaning today?
 
If US even should have a constitution I'm not sure. But if they are to have one, there should be something about protecting the environment in it. Maybe that should be the only thing in that constitution.
 
Yeah, who the hell needs free speech or free exercise of religion and protection against unreasonable searches and seizures.

My country has a constitution but nobody really cares about it. Same with basically all European nations as far as I know. No freaky "Every dude shall haveth a Mac 11 because god the magical creature has so decreed" - rules anywhere. And still we somehow get by. I think US would be better off if instead of shooting everything they'd, for example, focused on preserving the nature of their continent. That would make sense.
