having issues with factions now.

For me it always depends on what kind of character I am playing, for example my Independent Brawler gentleman, for him violence was the absolutely last option, he only killed Legion members when freeing Nelson and during the Battle of Hoover Dam, other characters like my Black Dynamite run killed the Legion where they stood since the first time they met them because he obviously hated slavers. My Robco Certified Anti social prospector chick just harvested the brains of the crucified people and didn't even bothered talking to Vulpes before leaving town to get on with her robot making Hijinks.

i killed in nelson as well, there were a few that were hostile, even more when freeing the ncr troops (it is a shame we couldnt get to nipton in time to save people), anyways, after that and saving the 2 powder gangers in the legion camp from the booted quest, it was enough to have the legion send assassins after me.

in reference to fallout 3 and what could have been done with factions if they had added it in that game, i imagine megaton had lots of ways to like you or hate you. like i assume that if you had disarmed the bomb, the town would like you, whereas if you decided to side with moriarty and kill the sheriff, the town would have hated you. like in goodsprings when you got the option to help ringo or give him to the powder gangers, i see a lot of missed opportunity in fallout 3, though i enjoy it.

i think i really like how new vegas does things in lots of ways, though it makes for more complicated gameplay at times.

Thats where your brainnn comes into play, that soft, squishy brainnnn we tend to neglect with these computer games as of late!
I love my brainnnnnn

well i think it is important to remind people sometimes, like me. er, i am the worst person in the world with games like fallout and dragon age and fable... i stole the baby from the pitt dlc in fallout 3, way back when, let the society die. in dragon age 2 i made isabella my lover and loyal ally only to give her to the qunari later. in fable, i gave the teddy bear to the bully, who promptly ripped the head off and i ate a consistant supply of crunchy chicks. i have a mischievious personality and games like these let me be mischievous and a total jerk without repercussions in real life.
