I wish I never got rid of these games. Holy shit! Would any of you pay that much for a game?

Post pics, links, or discuss similar high priced games. I don't think I would pay more than 100 bucks for any game. That is just me though.
What about the dudes that paid hundreds of bucks for MW 3?
I don't think that expensive Legend of Zelda will sell, as there are cheaper ones on eBay... I have the Earthbound SNES cartridge, and the big strategy guide that comes with it, but I can't seem to find it :/ (the guide, not the game. I know where that is
)
I knew Earthbound was expensive, but damn has it inflated the past few years... I remember it being $50 (cartidgne only, no book or box) and thinking "what the fuck, that's how much a brand new game costs."
Anyway, yeah, there are toooooons of old games that cost a lot of money... mainly classic RPGs.
Chrono Trigger, EVO, Harvest Moon, Breath of Fire, the Final Fantasies, Lufia, Ogre Battle, I could go on... these all can cost much more than new games do. I would guess it's a combination of rarity (though most of these games aren't that at all), collectibility, and nostalgia that drives the prices up. To be honest, I don't really fucking know.
For a lot of people (including me), it's just a nicer feeling to have an actual copy of the game and play it on the original system than to play it emulated on a ROM. I'm just glad that I already have most of the games I'd like to (and picked ones I didn't have years ago), because these prices are pretty crazy
To answer your question though... would I pay that much for a game? No. Would I pay $50-60? Occasionally, as many of these games I prefer to newer ones so they really have more value to me. I don't think there are any that cost over $100 that I would buy... at least that I don't have already
