how did you kill the president in fallout 2?

First time out of the vault
I used some ultra-stimpacks(whatever they're called)(edit: I used the ultra-stimpacks on the president), and after some time, he died. and no one attacked me
 
The first time through I used my M72 Gauss Rifle... boy oh boy, was it hard to kill his bodyguards...
 
I didn't kill him. I actually managed to convince him to give up. It was hella hard, though. Had to reload seven times to make it work.

Are you sure that's possible? AFAIK, only the Master could actually be convinced that he was wrong.

Anyway, I usually killed him with the gauss pistol, just like I killed everybody else... gotta love firing that 3 times in a turn.
 
The few times I faced him I always put dynamite or plastic explosives in his pocket, timed for a few minutes.

Its not easy and it doesn't always go undetected but most of the time it is very effective, and apparently the people of the Enclave don't look up when someone spontaneously explodes.
 
First I boozed him up with some Gamma Gulp, then I kicked him in the nuts...repeatedly.

First time around I miniguned the shit out of everyone and everything I saw. Really the only trouble I had was frank. But alas, back then I was young, and foolish. Back when I probably would have enjoyed fallout 3.... I, was an idiot.
 
Super Stim in the end, first time I planted C4 and the game crashed.

I wish there had been an alternative stealth-kill route, both C4 and Super Stims to me were cheating really :(

Unfortunate, facing a bunch of soldiers in Power Armour, plus those robots is not fun either.

and I shat on all his deputees. 8-)

Followed the Super Stim scenario in other run throughs, but the eat-lead-and-shut-up tactics are much more memorable.

I Pulse Rifled his ass. He was gone. Poof. A pile of ash. I sneaked out and pressed Enter, and weirdly no guard seemed to care. Next time I want to bring Dogmeat along and let him chew some presidential meat.
