Humble Origin bundle!!!!

Five of the games are OK to activate in steam, so... You don't need to get Origin for most of the bundle. Only for Dead Space 3.

Oly game there I have any interest in is Dead Space, and I already have it so yeah. Still good value for 5 dollars.

Origin redeem-code system is not working at the moment anyway, so yeah.... :D

Would be interested in the Mirrors Edge, Medal of Honor or Sims 3 code only.. ( :o )

I would buy this, but I don't want Origin on my machine.

^ Only reason why i haven't gone back to BF3.. Steam is where it is at if you are getting anything like that.

Also that list of games made me think back on the time when COD/MOH where about WW2 and didn't suck.. :(

I use both Origin and Steam and funny enough, apart from that problem with redeeming codes right now, I've never had any problem with Origin, unlike Steam which fucks up pretty often, loads slow, has horrible interface etc.

In the passt 5 years + i've had 2 problems with steam and both were self inflicted 8-) Origin is not bad but i tend to stick with 1 and Steam is far better overall compared to Origin.

Meh, nothing I want to play that I haven't played before. And if I want to give 5 bucks to charity I can do that on my own, I don't need to be lured into installing Origin on the way.

To be honest, I think it's kinda sucky by EA to do something like this. Yes, it'll generate a lot of money to charity. But this is nothing else than a PR move by EA and I would very much like to see how much they give to charity. And yes, I know they raise awareness and shit. But I don't buy into that. If they care, they donate money directly. They don't ask their players, of which a lot aren't even adults who have their own economy, to donate.

I seriously don't see what's sinful about Origin. The claims that it's spyware have been long since disproved (and anyway Steam does the same thing and no one bats an eyelash) and it runs pretty fine, apart from mandatory updates. Yes it's yet another login/password to remember, and yet another launcher thing, but we live in this day and age.

I might bite myself. Mirror's Edge and Dead Space 3 seems interesting, and I've never played BF3 either. If I understand it well, I have to spend 5+$ on the other titles, then I'l be able to spend more money in order to get BF3, is that it? I've never bought a humble bundle.

Also, some people are willing to shell out 1000+$ for this? Seriously, might as well give it straight to charity.

You can get the first 6 games for 1 buck but if you pay 4.64+ you get the rest! And you can decide how much of your cash goes to the company/Humble bundle or charity.. So basicly you can put all the cash to charity.

And you should really keep an eye out on this site since they have a ton of great games every now and then and it's not just the bundle but the weekly sale aswell.

Wait, you mean that if you pay more than 5$, they simply throw in the Sims and BF3? My understanding was that you had to buy them, too, and that you could do so after you paid for the rest of the bundle.

Well, in that case there's no reason not to bite. 5$ is a pittance. Maybe I'll throw in 10 and send it all to charity. I blew more cash on my dinner anyway.

Only obstacle is that I don't have PayPal. Gonna hafta make an account and stuff.

EDIT: silly me, you can pay via credit card. Well, time to dismember space zombies, jump on rooftops and frag fools in a tank.

You are not the first to be happy about learning this :P Sadly the only times i've feelt like buying something i've either been really short on cash or the games would not come trough steam.. And i tend to get all my new games on steam so i don't have to keep track of other programs/sites/discs.

Just to clarify none of this is going to EA/Origin, you can only choose charity or humble.

Shame Medal of Honour is in there, swap out that trash for Dead Space 2 or something and it would be a lot better.

you demand too much for 1$

Yeah, honesly, buy this on Origin and it's, what, 150$? You can get it for 5$. If you want only some games, you can get the bundle and just redeem 2-3 keys. It's what I do, as I have already played Crysis 2 and Dead Space and have no interest in The Sims or Burnout. It's still 3 games for 10$.

Nah, Imma still getting it for Burnout, since my brother eloped with the 360 I've got no racing games. :V

Maybe they'll add SimCity like Humble Bundles are wont to do in the second week, it does appear to be the games that no longer make money.

I think we all can agree that it would better for the gamer if both Steam and Origin would be completely optional for the player. Call me old school, but I think games back then have been better without this forced DRM crap.

And yes, before someone ask, I bought games back then.
