The doc is pretty BS. There are several articles floating around about why it's not only a stupid idea to intervene like this but dangerous as well, not to mention the charity organization itself being pretty badly rated.

the kony thing is all well and fine and all if it actually works.
i noticed some inacuracies, lots of emotional manipulation (using that fuckin kid in every other scene), and ommitions of detail.
people go around thinking kony has 30 000 abducted kids in his army. most realistically 29 000 of these are long gone.

i just feel sorry for all the locals w their hopes spurred, if this just fails.

africa is full of these issues, long lasting, nowhere-going, pain-in-the-ass conflicts

But hey, these people are making dollar millions. There was something scam scanal too about how they spend only 33% of the donations on the actual cause. People see this, so the org's answer is:

Anyway, there is indication the will use a merc group like Ex.Outcomes wich have been used with excellent results with these kind of things before.

I wouldn't really know anything about the organization - I've heard about them for the first time.
The video is manipulative at the moments, definitely, but if they really want to have a take on this guy, it's their choice. It wouldn't really change things just by capturing him, but hey, it's their choice again. They seem to have big support.

Again, I know nothing about it - that's the reason I posted it here. I knew someone would know more about it. I have my doubts about it, and would like them set straight.
Do you perhaps have those links still? I'm kinda interested now, both in the Kony guy, and in the first world scam(s).

33% is actually about 22% more than they are required by law to use for the cause.(if this is anything like a charity) The Italian American Police Fund in New Jersey only uses 11%.
