Welcome to the forums and contrary to popular belief on modern Fallout fansites (aside from Classic Fallout reddit, those folk are quite mature), we don't lob stones at people who are alright with Fallout 4. Or at least, I try not to.

We lob stones at those who like 4 that are obnoxious, annoying or trollish when it comes to defending their liking. As long as you can remain civil about liking 4 and be open to critique against 4, no threats of the sorts will be directed at you.

It's okay, I liked F4 until the game ended and then I realised how empty the Game actually was.
Also, the DLC actually made the game worse.

But it's cool, no one will hate you for it, we don't even care if you say it's your favourite (expect to be questioned on why however).
What I will say is, don't parade around like it's the best game ever, most people here don't really do that here with the Fallout games they like, unless they strike up a good argument why.

Anyway, that was a rather hostile hello, so time for the actual hello.

Hey people
Im an asshole who likes being an asshole. I also enjoy Fallout games. Nobody really likes me, but for good reason. I found NMA by searching "Mojave Desert is fucking scary". I wasn't trying to find a Fallout site or anything really about Fallout, I was just looking for people who agree that the Mojave desert is actually hell on Earth. New Vegas is my favorite Fallout, I know I'll be killed by you legends who have beaten Fallout 1 & 2 more times than you'd like to admit, but it is my favorite. Fallout 3 is, well okay. It got me in Fallout so it has that for it but after playing New Vegas and parts of 1 and 2 (my pc is like I said, shit) and reading up on the lore, I have realised how evil Bethesdick is. I think FO4 is an elite fps shooter game of the year mlg fuckfest with aliens and robots and shit*. Well that is about it to be honest.**

* I do not enjoy Fallout 4. It is not a good Fallout game.

Hi people, i found this forum a long time ago, and have been visiting it regulary since, but i decided to make my account now cause i felt like it was time for it.
My name comes from my surname, and is sort of my nickname, and as for the avatar, i like all things from 50's (guess where that came from hehe),also the Rebel flag is apparently a problem to some, let me tell you it's not meant to be really political or something, but it fits the rockabilly style that im going for (even in RL).
If people want to know more, feel free to ask, better to know than assume right?.

Ollah Amigos! What's up folks? I did a bit of looking around on the news about NMA and came across so rather disparaging things. Well, fuck'em I say. They don't appreciate what has been wonderful about this place.

Been awhile since I've stopped. Hope you all are doing well. Currently replaying New Vegas. Perhaps I will finish it this time.

You definitely need to finish New Vegas. It's the closest we can get to Fallout 3's original story these days. Wasteland 2 just didn't cut it. NMA will always be looked at as sour grapes by hardcore Bethesda fanatics, but many have come over to the light side in recent years due to poor handling of the series. Most notably when Fallout 4 sucked the big one upon release.
 
Oh my god !!!! You guys ! NMA ! You still exist !!!! My name is Rizzy, 31 year, When I was teenager I was member of TBC the black company (Fallout tactics clan), called Rizlaplus. Great times, I used to be more on forums like Neverwinternights forum, or clan forum etc.....it were good times. I kind of trying to remember what clan was our eneme....oh of course ! The Khans :D I forgot what the leaders name was though..... Moonbiter was the nickname of the leader for our clan. Great ! I dont think I will pop into people here but who knows : D Great to be back here, I did come here to back in the days. Just not as much. I would rant about the legend of the famous cocktail stick (my own silly fan fic for Fallout). Love Fallout..! Still need to play Fallout 4, loved New Vegas (never finished because of bugs) and currently installing Wasteland ! (never played)

This must be some kind of cosmic coincidence because I just dug up a lot of old info on Moonbiter and the like. THE ORDER was involved briefly with that crowd. We are at the bottom of the forum if you remember us. Welcome back to the land of the living.

What games come closest to Fallout nowadays? Wasteland 2? Just started playing it and it took me hours to finish the first quest...forever to find a fricking valve ! Need to pay attention to details in this game. Love it so far though, tough to survive so far but I am waiting for some kind of hub (ahh the hub) to visit to make money and buy fricking bullets.

New Vegas had the mutant in it, I got that far ....what was his name..not Harold the Ghoul...the friendly mutant from part...2? Not sure.......but I need to replay it , it kept crashing on me. I kept starting the game over.

I didn't know Moonbiter but one or two of the Orderites might. We have history with the group though, so we have records. ;)

UnderRail is a good alternative. Marcus was in New Vegas. You definitely need to play it again...maybe with a few mods for stability.



MR FU was a member of the AOF. He disappeared for a while and returned as Moonbiter and founded The Black Company. It's was based on some book or something. Anyway it quickly became the biggest Fallout: Tactics Clan.

Tone had the CEO position, which in the Order's convoluted way meant he was the leader. He saw the Black Company and wanted to restructure The Order into basically it. There were a couple of different squads which people were assigned to and everyone had a military rank.

Now all of this was before even the demo of Fallout: Tactics was released. Which is why this was all so insane. They had no idea what the game would be like yet were making grand plans which almost none would really come to fruition.

Now Tone could do all his grand plans but most of The Order really wasn't following it. This 'Clan' was made from two off-line only games. There was no real multiplayer pull in the general community. This really made Tone unsatisfied,he wanted his own Black Company and was stuck with The Order.

What made Tone quit and form Dragon's Talon was the move.

lol yes! so awesome this, thank you!!!! I remember the game was not even released yet and we were already full of imagination. This what made a certain vibe in the clan I believe. It is great to read it out like that. I hope to bump into another TBC member or the Khans leader.

At the time, he was always messing on our forums which made the unity and the game came to life a bit in the forum. It was fun. I dont know how well the TBC did once tactics was released I ended up playing once with them together because I did not had the game available to me yet. lol : ) I do have it now on my shelf, looking at it. Tribute to Fallout always.

Visiting the site wow , memory lane I am smiling ear to ear.

I will play vegas again and never heard of UnderRail, will look it up. I am a die hard RPG fan, on my to do list is the Witcher which will connect to Cybreria steam punk game, which gives me falloutish excitement feelings! (dont know nothing about it yet)

I would go for a Fallout 2.5 with Diablo graphics. I miss the top down view ! I was very disappointed with Fallout 3. Had no connection to 1 or 2. It was just the concept of a new RPG in a post apocalyptic setting. New Vegas fixed that a bit, but never got to finish.

When I first heard Bethesda is making the game, I was a bit concerned. No disrespect to Skyrim and Morrowind, but there is something static about the way they create their world. So New Vegas was made by Obsidian if I am not mistaken, with more of a Bioware/Fallout point of view of things. Like Star Wars Kotor 2 they made and Neverwinter nights 2.

I wonder if kickstart would help fund a Fallout game...old school style in a new fresh bit modernized interface/graphics.....how many people would fund it.....the thing is Bethesda has the rights...so Wasteland 2 comes closest to a new Fallout game? (Wasteland is the base for Fallout 1 is it not?)

I will play Fallout 4 one day but I already know it wont be the same. I do like the building in the game of Fallout 4, but I have hardly read reviews. To afraid for spoilers :)

Does anyone like Shenmue 3? I cant believe there is a Shenmue 3 coming (love kickstarter!), that is just as magical to me.
