Is there anything canon to take from Fallout 4?

I always wonder why Bethesda is so obsessed with Aliens, then I came up with two theories, theory number one: Emil is an alien, or two, they own an alien something, don't know how this is gonna help, but ok.
They seem even more obssessed with crustaceans. Mudcrabs, 30 types of mirelurks chaurus...

I am way too tired to get the true meaning of that additionnal *'re*. Emil imitation maybe ?

Ironically, the Mirelurks in Fallout 3 is probably one the the best things I have seen them make.

They make sense, they're large mutated crabs.

They have castes.

The only thing I don't like are the 'kings'.

Legenderary raider that has mutated is cannon is my book.

( seriously, what the hell were they thinking? )

You know, that could have been an awesome boss.

You go through some giant questline to find some epic bandit dude.

You find him taking some experimental drug, and you talk to him.

Fighting him makes him 'mutate' more and more, until he's a quivering mass of flesh, tentacles, and teeth, until he dies.

Generelly it's a shame how bethesda is treating bandits like that. They could be real country-bandits, even social bandits. It would fit classic fallout universe and bethesda's minecraft bullshit to make them ex-farmers gone rogue and not only robbing shit but also pushing political agenda, being muscles for local politicians etc. And a somewhat intelligent FEV mutant would seriously make an ideal bandit.

Nah, why do we need FEV Mutants in every single Fallout game?

Like, FEV was a top-secret project unique to the West Coast. If a game is anywhere BUT the West Coast, they should either stick to Ghouls, or make there own species of mutant.

I agree, but i like them as leftovers. I mean they are tough, they live forever ( until they are killed anyway ) and they cannot reproduce. There's something mythical about them. I think fallout 2 and partially new vegas had the right idea about how to deal with them. A cool rarity. And i love how they were made to obey the master and are now orphanated, with no purpose.
So a bandit mutant would make a cool character i think.

About the east coast, yeah they shouldn't be there but nothing from the fallout universe ever makes sense being there at all. I mean it is implied ( if not stated ) in fallout that every single mutated creature ( scorpions, deathclaws etc ) was a result of airborne FEV plus radiation. And FEV behaved like that because of the nukes that hit the glow. Right?
So every single thing about fallout should only be in the area around the glow, and that's the east coast.
The brotherhood of steel shouldn't be all over the place either, i mean if their classic origin still stands, it makes no sense for them to migrate to the other side of america and still exist in huge numbers.
