That's a... peculiar face to have look up at a person doing intimate dealings with you.
I have a feeling you might not have thought things all the way through.

The Army camouflage is absolutely fantastic. Makes you almost invisible.
In gravel pits, at least.

If you try to make camo work everywhere, you generally end up with something that works nowhere. That and the acquisition system for the US military is retarded and full of desk jockeys that want to be sure they can get a job in the private sector when they get out.

@ Carib: Still humping the M203 I see? Must be a hoot to shoot. :)

Me after a ceremony in my rifleman uniform. Damn I got fat during this time.

For some reason, white spats on black shoes fascinated me greatly as a kid :I
And FAL, neato!
I'd be double-happy with that gear :D

Just now they're figuring out that ACU doesn't quite hack it. Multicam was pretty effective in the Stan. They should suck it up and have two to three different Camos.... After all, one can't cover all.

I can only imagine they will have a chameleon camouflage in the near future that will change colours depending where you are.

@Carib FMJ - where were those photos taken? It seems Jimi Hendrix served in the 101st.

It's on Fort Campbell, KY. And yes, Jimi Hendrix was in the 101st. He got out though before 'Nam broke out.

His timing was good, that would have been a horrible conflict to go through. But still he never forgot the soldiers that went to war.

1 year ago but it's the newest picture i could find for some weird reason.
@Makta - are you Romanian or mixed by any chance? It's curious a Swede would have that avatar...

Actually i read about Codreanu a few years ago and i was amazed about this guy. Then i found out that there was even more to the story than what i could normaly read "Damn you socialists/communists!" and decided he was one of the few people that fit the "awesome" list for me. Before that i havent really had anyone worthy a spot on that list :P
Even more so that he was a religious leader "ish" and i actually disslike the concept of religion.
So no. I'm 100% Swedish for at least 300 years back but i might have some German/Polish in me from way way back when Sweden had a lots of soldiers from those 2 countries.. Who knows?

I see.

Though i have a curiosity, from what i know about Sweden living there must be miserable for someone on the other side of the political spectrum , as much as voicing a non-socialist thought can get you fired or stuff like that, nevermind marginalized (not that i would care about the latter). It's insane, at least from what i hear.

Feelsbadman

Though, great country otherwise.
