I think the reason attractive women act so different, is because their used to getting everything from their looks. If a girl can get away with anything, she doesnt need to be smart. She can also be a bitch and most people wont mind because shes so hot.

Agreed. I've always believed that God made girls hot so guys will put up with them (except the plain girls - we're stuck for the guys who won't put up with hot, obnoxious girls anymore).

heres the thing... Every guy has a scale for women. usually 1-10 scale. i personaly put 75 percent of women into 6-and up. And the females that get a 6 or higher can always get a guy (based on looks alone) if they really want one.

Hmm... I'd say you are pretty good looking judging from that pic you posted. Of course I can't see your full body, and that would come into play, but from the neck up, I'd rate you pretty high as looks go.

As far as "hot women getting their way", that has never really been the case with me. I've never been one to drool over girls for their looks. I think my wife is beautiful, but I really wasn't all that interested in her until I began to talk and interact with her (she got moved to the unit I was in while I was in the Army).

It probably had to do with the fact that I wasn't looking for a one night stand, I was looking for a serious relationship. Beautiful or not, you have to put up with the attitude.

It's admirable of you to say that appearence doesn't matter. I rarely hear guys say that.

However, about me being "beautiful".. meh.. I have trouble with my image.. which is why it was hard to put my pic up here. My insecurities are based on the past - merciless teasing in elementary school (I had it all.. the glasses, the braces, the geeky wardrobe.. etc). I'm working on it though - can't live life like this. At least I've upgraded from thinking I'm "ugly" to "plain".

I'm not fishing for compliments, and I don't even know how to accept one properly - especially in real life. How do you say "thank you" if you don't believe it yourself?
And my body is the one thing I like about myself, so no problems with that one.

I'm rambling. Guess this is me making up for my lack of speech in the real world.

Eh, Odin, we were talking about looks, and I was commenting on looks. You know, the "plain looking" and "hot looking" comments above. I agree, that overall behavior, maturity, intelligence, and personality attributes matter a whole lot more. Notice the last sentence before the one introducing the picture of my wife and I. I don't know katja well enough to comment on the mental aspects, except that she is showing promise.

 

How old are you in that picture, Tone? Maybe it's the light, but you look like a kid almost.

 

See, the majority of people here claim that looks don't matter (which is surprising to even hear in the first place), but in my experience, things have contradicted that. It's great that people here aren't so superficial.
