that's not a knife, that's just a flat piece of steel.

"Parang" knife - A Malay machete. My melee weapon of choice.

*Not mine, a random "Parang" photo since I don't have any camera.*

In love with this baby since I cut down bamboo trees for my tent in a camping trip. Cheap(don't know about the price at other countries), reliable and durable.

Even recommended by British Special Forces as a survival tools in the jungle.

Oh man, you're a huge nerd.
Weaboo would be a more fitting term considering his tastes.

Not really, just an avid collector of swords of all shapes and sizes from anywhere across the world, got an arabian scimitar, a russian broadsword, and a claymore from I forget where as well.

Don't be silly wooz, I carefully shred them with a steak knife.

That said, this thread is strangely making me think of this,

I have a Scottish basket hilt, a hunting knife and a Swedish bayonet, also a replica German war ax. and a machete. The bayonet next to the bed and the machete next to the door. I had a beautiful 1800s cut throat razor, but it was confiscated about a year ago during a raid. If anyone knows where i can buy another one I'd really appreciate it, i miss it a lot.

I dont do fantasy or historic knives but I did work in a few kitchens so I've collected some really good real knives.

I've got a refurbished Henkels chef knife (about 10") that would have cost me more than $100 had it not had it's handle replaced. I also own a solid metal chinese cleaver that has ruined a couple of chopping boards and that can cleave any replica weapon in half.

So... a historic knife isn't a real knife?
