Leaked Nuka World Pics

There's actually some 'hired guns' NPCs spawning to defend the settlement, probably to prevent what you just said. So, it's hired guns and whatever settler in the town versus you and raiders.
Can we raid settlements that have essential characters and kill those essential characters? or are those characters just staying there shooting forever or just strangely absent?

Thanks for the information you provided by the way :ok: seems like it is just more of the same, Bethesda being Bethesda... I fear for the next Beth games... no way I am buying them unless Bethesda changes it's games direction 180º.

Nope. I tried to select a settlement that had an essential settler, a pop up said I need to move the quest-essential character before attacking the place.

e; you can, however, intimidate settlements that have quest-related settlers in them. So, that's something.

Now THAT'S immurshun. "Hey, Pesto Gravey, do you mind leaving Sanctuary Hills with your immortal droogs for a while? Yeah, no reason, a bit of spring refurbishing, no biggie, you wouldn't want to be there..."

Rotfl, I imagine that's how it works with the settlements that have essentials in them.

Can't do that with Garvey, however. He hates my character's guts since I joined the raiders, so he won't talk to me (and I also never completed the settlement tutorial quest). So, Sanctuary Hills is a no-go.

So, uh, the scenes from the trailer where they're clearly raiding Sanctuary Hills are not actually all that achievable?
Glorious.

You /could/, but you'd have to finish the questline that introduces you to settlements in Sanctuary Hills (Preston's coterie becomes not-essential after that), and tell Preston to fuck off before you decide to start raids in the Commonwealth (unless the game allows you to kill him during the raid) -- then attack the settlement.

Sadly, I cannot do it in my game because I never finished the Concord quest (that leads to the 'Sanctuary' mission) and Preston won't talk to me. But it's definitively possible to invade Sanctuary Hills, since it's listed as one of the possible targets you can raid.

It's bit of a mess with that town, not sure if what I said makes sense.

Good thing is I got some empty settlements, at least saving me the hassle of killing settlers.

Dude, don't be ridiculous, consequences in a Bethesda game? Do you want the heads of their fans to explode?

'But ... but reloading all the time sucks!'

So can anyone post some more pics please? I for one am interested in seeing some of the locations/items some more. I am particularly interested in crafting chems and recipes in particular. Are they any new chems or soda recipes specific to Nuka World ?

Unsorted list. Although it's not in english, so yeah...

There are mixing machines which can mix certain nuca cola bottles to make more efficient ones. Quite a lot of repices here, some overeffective.

This one should be a post-war armor, right? It's X-01 after all. Nope, internal consistency gone fucks.
Before you ask - It's NOT auto-leveled from T-51b.

Egh, the more I hear about this DLC, the more my low expectations leave me feeling underwhelmed.

Some of you are cool, don't help a settlement tomorrow.

So they turned Skoma into gatorade. Why are the Khajiit losing all their furr for it again? Oh boy! Drugs and serious side effects in a Bethesda game? We clearly can't have something like that. Think about all those soccer moms loosing their panties over little Jimmy getting exposed to some authenticity. Hell, in Fallout 2 your character could develope an addiction on Nuka Cola even ... if I remember correctly.

So the DLC is once again goes against the ideals of what Bethesda tried to write your character to be?
Jesus Christ Bethesda, at least keep consistent.
