holy fuck! i just played it on single player and got to the second safe point. this game is FUN AS SHIT!!!

MMOs are game when you have a large server where hundreds people can play at the same time. L4D is a multiplayer shooter, plainly.

i know the difference. my point was this (and then just drop it, please) "i've never thought the idea of playing with other people online was anything but ridiculously nerdy so i'm entirely unused to it."

The game was on sale for 25$ this weekend at Steam. Came so close to buying it because I want it so bad. Just knew I wouldn't have time for it though :(
 
Yeah I like it when there's actually good people to play against. Too many babies quit right after we destroy them in the first round. Too many wimps on xbl in general.
 
Sorry to gravedig this again, but I'm through with this game. Don't get me wrong, it's great, but the community is worse than CS. Seriously. I haven't had a good match in ages now. Since I usually play with my team, we dominate everyone out there (including many teams). They just quit after the first round. Last time took the prize though, after they accused us of cheating with wallhacks after we shot them through the wall, something quite characteristic of the Source engine. I wish there was a "report player" function in Steam, I don't want these faggots to be allowed to play anymore. Taking a week-long hiatus, let's see if the community has improved after the DLC. Hell, they even kicked Sicblades for some reason. Lame.

Is anyone part of a team, and wants to challenge mine?
 
Holy shit, I know what you mean, I was trying to play online and got the same accusations of "wall-hacking". I've been shooting through walls with Source games since Day of Defeat Source, why the fuck is this a new concept?
I also have to concur with how terrible these people are, I'm not even that good at shooters and these imbeciles spend most of their times learning how to strafe into walls while backpedaling like it somehow deflects bullets.
 
The game is made so that you can shoot througth some walls, you know kinda like in real life. I'm getting back into this and will most likely be on later tonight. After some mind altering activities. feel free to add me its either "Von Drunky" or "VonDrunky". I usually try to beat expert or VS.

only in real life it's really fucking difficult to predict and severely depends on the cartridge used, ye know.

whereas in CS and such, you basically got walls made from gingerbread...
 
I never played counter strike but in L4D it makes senses since the interior of most modern offices and buildings are made from cheap material.
