hehe, thank you. :D and.. what, my frog?! ..ehh.. i guess i can take it away, hehe.

I tried lowering them a bit now, and put in some extra stuff. but... meh, this stage is the worst for me. Light shadows and placment of the finishing strokes before coloring. (dangers of overworking or just plain "ruin" it. X_X i still got much left, but its what i could do for today.
(i put the old pic next to so its easier to see the difference.)

Relax. There won't be no Art Police kicking your door down and arresting you for mistakes.

As I said, relax and start with the strongest shadows on another layer. Leave the details for the very end, and don't be afraid to add stuff straight in color.
 
I am following this thread with great interest.

This is my 500th post and I am officially declaring that while I have no contextual insight whatsoever I like what I see.

I also appreciate the feedback you are getting and the energy you are putting into this. It is a learning experience to see you adjust to the advice you get, and I can't wait to see the finished result :)

Thanks again for the support. hehe. im gonna work on the real job on monday, but on tuesday i got more "secret time" to work on the pic, hehe. ....ehh.. i could work now... but i dont think it would be quite wize in the state im in :P hi-hi.

I guess i coulda done more fixing on the scetch itself.. but, ye, the clock is 5:11 am now... so i guess i should hit the sack and try to get some shut-eye.

I think it's good, and I really liked to watch how it came to be.
Hell, I liked all the art you've showed so far Lilll, but seriously:
What the hell is up with this guy's face? Proportions are really weird.
His head looks completely fucked since you fixed it.
Before, it just looked blurry, but now the face seems too long.

edit: too wide. I'm drunk too. fuck yuo!
 
His mouth does seem a bit off. It's like his mouth is facing us... while the rest of his face is off doing it's own thing.

Looks great with the colors though.

hi there. Haven't been able to continue on the pic that much, and im also going around in circles in this stage...
.... i found out extreme lighting and movement is not one of my strong sides at this point in time X_X.


and desember is soon. I got this day and tomorrow. But i guess ill just use the tme i need even if it will be delayed.

Better, better. I'd make the background monster slightly darker, tho'.

No extensive commentary today, am carving two 50x70 and a 100x70 linocuts and taking a small break.
