Marcus figurine

I'm going wet blanket here, although I'm not the first one.

Wouldn't recognize him but for the scars. "Young Marcus" doesn't cut it for me.
 
Considering (according to the website) it was put together out of a mish-mash of other parts of figurines, and clearly an immense amount of work went into it, i wouldn't be so quick to critisise. I think that yes, it's not perfect. But it's hardly production-line modelling, is it, for a fan project??

Yes! Finally! You just helped me realize what I've been suspecting for a while. Does indeed resemble Hellboy a lot.

Although, tbh, not a bad job for a hobbyist. I thought it was supposed to be a commercial product.

First of all, nobody would thought it's Fawkes, because every SM in FO3 looks the same.

Secondly, Bethesda already made those Power Armour statues (or something), the crapiest armour I have ever seen, and sold lots of them. So why not to make their version of SM dolly doll?
 
Eh, it's a custom so it's almost natural all the proportions are off. Really like the way he did the skin.

I'd love seeing a marcus made completely from scratch though. But is there even enough reference material to make a completely authentic looking sculpt?

Based partly on the character of the same name from the PC game Fallout 2, however I have combined a number of aspects from not only fallout 2, but fallout 1, fallout tactics and from what screen shots that have been seen from fallout 3.

Marcus has a unique body as it is a combination of two predator bodies and partly Briareos Hechatonchires which has been sculpted over the top and standing at an imposing 15 1/2 inches everyone is dwarfed, as it should be!

Now that I'm thinking about it, it looks a lot like the Nemesis from Resident Evil. That's probably mostly the black jumpsuit though. It's a damn good homemade piece though :clap:
