You obviously don't know what a pun[1] is. You didn't use one, deliberately or not, so "no pun intended" doesn't make any sense here. The phrase you were (probably) looking for was "no offense intended."

Enjoyed the extended trailer, seems to be keeping the dark athmosphere of Payne.
Only a month left to see how it will turn out.

Film has an R-rating, despite it being hyped as PG 13. Sweet.

I've been replaying the first game in preparation for this. The flesh of fallen angels!
 
Were there monsters or anything supernatural in the game? The only thing of the sort, that I remember, were his dream sequences. What's with that black angel?

I'm going to go out on limb and guess that they will be dreams or nightmares, induced by [spoiler:33420ff071]being forced to overdose on Valkyr[/spoiler:33420ff071].

I just watched the 1080p trailer on my big screen (helps to pick out the details). I see one man being propelled out of a window presumably having been shot or pushed by Max, and at the same time a blackened evil looking winged creature (a twisted play on the Valkyrie perhaps) hooks it's talons into the mans back and is moving back/out with the man. I think this is going to be a strong theme in the movie, where many of the deaths will be shown with men taken away by an unseen (to the characters not the audience) Valkyrie.

I like the look of this already.

Actually, an issue of EGM had a comment in the rumors section that a Max Payne 3 is in development at Rockstar Toronto, the guys behind that video game adaptation of The Warriors.

I did the same thing in last 2 weeks :D
Took like 2 days to finish The Fall of Max Payne :) Unfortunately the sound doesn't work properly while playing the first game.

Damn You Bill Gates!!!
 
not a big fan of movies that are based on video games.but since i liked max payne a lot and mark wahlberg too (no i am not ghei) i will be looking forward to this one .
 
I'm a huge fan of the games, I really don't remember much about angels and demons, except for in the first game jack lupino babbled on about "The flesh of fallen angels" and raved on about demons, max had some really weird things happen in his little hallucination periods, and that the drug that caused alot of the mayhem in the game was called valkyr which could mean the "angels" in the previews are actually valkyries or something along those lines.

I like mark whalberg quite a bit, and I really think he'll make a good max payne.

All in all, I just really hope they don't mess this movie up, the games were awesome, it would really suck to have their legacy ruined by a shitty movie adaptation.
