Chris Avellone let us know on twitter he's having New Vegas maquettes made, for his own use.
Wanted to do series of Fallout New Vegas maquettes, here's a draft of Ulysses from my pal Stone Perales

Would love to see em when they're done.

Well, the sketch has today's date on it, so I don't know about it falling through...

For some reason I mentally assumed he meant "for general sale", which makes it sound unlikely. If it's just for himself, that's fine tho.

There was a Fallout 3 BoS figurine, right?
If I'm not wrong, BN has one.

I would've been great to have a Lanius figure, or NCR Ranger one.

Looking at Bioware, I sometimes wonder why Bethesda hasn't adopted a similar merchandise plan, selling figures of their games' characters. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of potential buyers for Power Armor, Ranger, even Liberty Prime figures and stuff like that out there.
I know I'd be one.

Bethesda also didn't want to license out the rights to a Fallout PnP RPG. Green Ronin was interested but Bethesda turned them down and they eventually went for the Dragon Age license instead.

Yeah, Bethesda isn't big on licensing out and selling peripherals. Look at what BioWare is doing, they've got toy lines, T-Shirts, weapon replicas, all kinds of shit. Bethesda could make a fortune in the same field, but I guess they're paranoid about brand dilution. EA BioWare doesn't give a shit about diluting brands.

You make it sound like it's a bad thing ;)

I agree with the Flying Tard.

The lack of posters is preposterous!

Moichandising! Moichandising! Where the real money from the movie is made. Spaceballs: the T-shirt, Spaceballs: the Coloring Book [holds up a Transformers comic book], Spaceballs: the Lunchbox, Spaceballs: the Breakfast Cereal! Spaceballs: the Flame Thrower!!

But yeah, a poster would really hit the spot. Closest I've got is the map from the strategy guides. :(

I'd love to have some FNV figures, like the ranger dude. But then again, having this stuff standing around in my dwelling would look a tad too nerdy for my taste...

I do admit McFarlane is pretty good at making these sort of figurines. It's a shame they never did the Fallout series. Checkout their Halo "action figures".

Or a Muggy Plushie that tells you how much of an asshole the guy that made him is because he can only say that.
