Given the limited amount of info, these are the things you need to check:
1. Make sure there is not a patch000.dat file in the Fallout directory. Delete or rename it.
2. Don't use this mod with any others.
3. Make sure all files in proto\critters and proto\items are set to read only.
4. Check in this thread for installation instructions to make sure you have done it properly.

If it isn't one of these items, I don't know what could be wrong. And if you aren't playing with the US version, then I don't know how this mod will affect your game.

And to elotrocoso: The ladder in Klamath will not be affected by the Friendly Klint mod. The ladder works fine in update 6, as long as you use it properly.

What do you mean when you add #6? What happened to #5?

Anyway, just to let you all know, I have finished adding in the Primitive Tribe. Unfortunately, I hit another snag with Scrapheap (which, due to a problem with the engine, needed to be renamed) and still can't something new for Skynet to work. However, I am still on track for what I said before: a relase of 2.0 at the end of the month.
 
I'm glad to hear that is coming out a full package :D
I want to install it before i start playing after almost a year far from fallout.
Hope you can also include a "read me" with all the updates/changes you did along the releases you made (you keep a log, don't you? :?).
It would be great.

Now kinda offtopic and don't reply if you don't have patience to help me:
Does this MegaMod includes mods/fixes/patches from other modders? Because from what i read i can't install other mods. So would be nice to have other modded things that would enhance FO2 gameplay.

Once again, can't wait until the end of the moth to play! :P

I always include a readme file from me and others listing the changes. And, as for that second question, do you know what this project is!? I think I am just gonna have to stop putting anything here on this forum.
 
MIB88 may I suggest you something.Create self-extracting instalation to avoid annoying questions such as ''where I'm suppose to put those files'' etc.User will just select F2 folder and play moded game instantly.Now it's quite frustraiting to install mod with 6th update.Trust me even the best faq and readmes won't beat human foolishness or/and laziness.

define "properly" please...., im attaching the rope as usual and then trying to click, and get the same problem as before, no use icon in the menu, and get a description when i click

Are you really using the rope? The way I set it was for it to automatically send you to the basement if you used the rope. There would be nothing to do. There is no use option. The screen would just fade to black and you would be in the basement. Let me check...

I just checked it out in the mapper. Worked fine. The same file in my directory was the same included with update 6. KSBRLDTP.int is the name of the file running this. Make sure it is from September 14th. If not, you are using the wrong one.

and reading the first 4 and last 2 pages of this thread
i never saw "you must install the updates in sequential order"
i figured the lastest update would incorporate the previous ones

Sorry if i offended you, didn't meant that. I'm a member from long ago but i've been away from the forum and is kinda hard to catch objetive things from 23 pages. Sorry again if i upset you.

Since i got no response i assume it incorporates the 1.xx patches. Now i just have to download all the files and read the readme's to learn what was implemented :?
 
or just download the last version and read the read me file so you can see what you need to get MIB88 mod fully working.

Just wait until 2.0 comes out and you will see. I have already compiled all Megamod version 1 readme file into 1 single file so you can see what was changed along the way. You will also see all readme files from each mod author, even though you can ignore anything they say on installation instructions.

In a nutshell, 2.0 is all of the updates to date in a single download, plus fixes and changes in the past month, which are in a file already written, appropriately titled Megamod 2_0 readme.txt.

Not so much that I based it on New Vison, but I used that mod as my base, meaning that I added all other mods after New Vision. This is why a Megamod without New Vison is not going to be done by me, because it essentially means starting completely over, as I explained to that "cheeky" Makenshi. :D

Edit: One more develoment complete - A working modification for Skynet. It is all ready for 2.0, finally. Just a few more things I'd like to get done for the next realease...
 
i dont know if its already mention or not but in EPA after i use the elevator(from level one to utility and back) i have been transported in a screen of wall. i cant move or see my char. :(
 
Because so many people ask the same thing over and over again namely "how I install this?" I give up, and I will not post any bug I encounter, because you are distracted and forget to reply!!!
Vic and Klint have big problem, and I have enough trying to solve them by myself.
Now it's worse after I install update 6.
Klint don't level up and Vic forget his level and reset. I don't think it's our fault, the Mod have problem, evean with corupted files or not having protos files, wich is your fault.
Question. You have deleted and reinstall your game after every update you make? Or try to istall the Mod on another computer, to see if it's working?
I don't wanna be missunderstod but I have enough.
BTW The lader in Klamath it's working with update 6.
