The power armour looks just like...power armor when it`s ingame. The weird part is that you could use the helmet independently of the rest of the armour, wich would make a funny looking character

Theoretically you could go around in your shorts with a mean looking helmet on your head, wich would be hillarious

That pic with the eyebot doesn`t even have bilinear filtering, so it doesn`t look as well as it should, although that is alfa stuff. Still looks Falloutish, and that´s good enough for me

Which is funny, considering that the XBrick is little more than a one-trick pony 733MHz computer. Which everything has to be simplified for, fairly rendering the majority of XBrick titles into shiny yet vapid releases. We don't want to promote that kind of mentality, as we would actually like to see a sequel instead of more marketing ploys.

When you consider the majority of titles produced for consoles are FPS/sports simulators/Mario Brothers controller-whacking fests, then factoring in that developers have moved to console development as a priority, catering to the hordes of 12 year olds looking for thongs., sking this question of people who enjoy PC RPG's seems a bit "pointless".

The only reason why Morrowind really did well on XBrick is that the titles for the XBrick are mostly action-oriented and shiny. That is why the XBrick has had shit for sales outside of certain genre preferences, namely the trash talking children on XBrick Live Cheating. It has gotten so bad, now you can't even play GOLF on the damn thing anymore without some cheating shithead spoiling the fun.

Oh, and let's not forget the foreign markets, who consider most XBrick games to be mediocre and uninspired, but shiny; in other words not much of a game for what you have to pay, and not much of a DVD player unless you buy another attachment - hey, kind of like SegaCD. As do I.

I could go on. I think it has been pointed out around the industry that designing your game around the XBrick, and to also expect it to really appeal to PC fans or the real console market that doesn't like buying a one-trick pony console, is a laughable concept only has-beens like Warren Spector enjoy their delusions. It isn't hard for Fable and Morrowind to be noticed on the XBrick, those are perhaps the only two titles even remotely resembling a CRPG on that system. Otherwise, the system IS based on two core genres and that is IT. Sports and action/platform. Hell, even SegaCD had more than that.

Wrong, moron. Some games are quite long, and the consoles have had long games since they became good enough to actually offer the ability to program something other than Pac-Man. I would hazard a guess that the first Final Fantasy was released before you were born. Final Fantasy was also good in that it was a complex CRPG for the Nintendo at the time, and it had longevity in play. Hence, it turned Squaresoft from a nobody into a leading console developer. The Nintendo, along with most of the other consoles except for the NeoGeo and XBrick, have had a good representation of genres.

I'm sorry if you, too, can't understand what the effect of having just a slim portion of the market, and what the console itself focuses on, would be upon future development and sales, especially when it came to parallel development for a PC game along with a console release. Which, you know, is the context of this discussion, but please don't let me stop you in making another stupid claim.

The console WAS designed around action games, for the maximum framerate possible (despite the frequent graphical glitch on almost any XBrick game, the display tear at 1/4 the top of the screen). The CPU of the graphics assembly is more than a third of what the core CPU is, which if you knew anything about programming around hardware, it sets a definite direction of development. The only other thing comparable in that ratio and hardware structure (mind you, I'm not going by just numbers - I am an engineer after all) are graphics workstations.

They are designed for fun like the Game Cube which i might add has some amazing RPG's on it like Tales of Symphonia.

The GameCube also has enough releases of enough variety to earn something that can be quantified in plural. Genres.

First, if you expect me to not notice the misspelling of my nick (which isn't that hard to Copy and Paste if you can't remember a simple eight letters) and expect me to think you're being serious, you're sadly mistaken. And if I badmouth people, then it is probably likely that they, like you, have said something incredibly stupid and then reaped the rewards.

Apparently, some people DO need to touch the stove to figure out that they'll get burned. We have helmets for people who need that kind of help.

The Xbox is NOT ALL BAD!

I didn't get my Xbox for Xbox Live, Action Games, Their Crappy excuses for RPG's, or the PC Ports.

I got my Xbox for the NHL and NFL games. On PC NHL and NFL games play just horribly. On Xbox these types of games are made perfect.
Not to mention it has 4 controller ports built right in, so you and 3 friends can pick up and play NP.

If your into sports games and don't give a damn about Xbox Live. Xbox is pretty bad ass... for that, atleast.

Fuck yeah. Me and the guys usually pop in some Madden NFL after band practice and have some drunken good times. Nothing wrong with the xbox in my book.
