Um I have to agree with Ratty. Since "Fallout Boy" is used as an advertisement character for Vault-tec shouldnt he be called "Vault Boy"? I've always called him that.

Because the devs called him Fallout Boy, just like they called Dogmeat Dogmeat rather than Dogshit. Since they made 'im, they get to name him, hence Fallout Boy.

On an unrelated note, the game "Burntime" actually featured a place called Dogshit City.
