most used weapon

FO1: I get the .223 Pistol ASAP and use it until I can get Turbo Plasma Rifle, which is a monster. Having fast shot + bonus rate of fire + sniper + luck 7, it is 5 shots/round at medium-long range, with 70% critical chance! Don't tell me this ain't the deal.

FO2: Gotta love the .44 revolver early game, with it's 1 AP bonus. I use it until I get the AR in Modoc, which is soon replaced by the FAL; this one I keep until I get my hands on the .223, and then switch for pulse/gauss weaponry late game.

FOT: gauss minigun, period. Pulse rifles and EMP shotguns/rockets/grenades are a must for the squad members when fighting robots. Honorable mention to the Browning M2 loaded with depleted uranium rounds, that thing hurts!

FONV: laser tommy gun, used it the whole game (until I quit it, that is). That big mofo .50cal rifle had a lovely sound, but I gave it to Boone.

I don't really have *a* favorite weapon or loadout in most of the games in the series because I like switching up styles between playthroughs. Some standbys, though:

Fallout 1: I prefer the .223 Pistol and the power fist for stylistic purposes, but if I'm phoning in a playthrough instead of trying to specialize or roleplay, Turbo Plas all the way. (I do take special relish in using a rocket launcher to face The Master, though).

Fallout 2: Again, .223 pistol and (mega) power fist for style (subbing in the Louisville Slugger where I can get away with it, especially while I'm cleaning up/taking over New Reno). Later on I usually graduate to the Gauss Rifle or the Pulse Rifle, but I use the Bozar almost as often when I want to play a combat beast.

Tactics: Uh? Never finished. I seem to remember I enjoyed planting mines and caving in unsuspecting skulls with an axe handle.

Fallout 3: Lincoln Repeater and a Dart Gun. I cannot conceive of why anyone would carry anything else. Running around kiting a group of crippled Deathclaws turns Old Olney into the old folks' morning power walk at the local mall, and was one of the only genuine laughs the game got out of me.

New Vegas: War Club! War Club! Heh heh m heh heh... War Club! I'm don't try to min/max, but the highest DPS I've ever achieved was with that club. One of the most exultant combat moments in the game for me was batting the Legendary Bloatfly out of the air with the War Club and the knockdown perk and then going Joe Pesci on it before it ever got a chance to take wing. When ranged support is required, I go with Proton Throwing Axes, but if there were a more conventional thrown melee weapon that even came close to their power level I'd be using it instead.

The upgraded Grenade Rifle and the LAER are favorites, too.

Fallout: Sniper Rifle or Turbo Plasma Rifle. Which was an animal of a weapon! Not to mention the animation and noise of someone melting from a plasma kill was just amazing!

Fallout 2: Combat shotgun early on, it just feels bad ass haha. H&K p90c after that and then the good old Gauss Rifle near then end!

Tactics: Only did one play through, had the most fun with a squad of snipers after the first few missions. Nothing particular really stands out.

Fallout 3: Good old sniper rifle. The dart gun was also a life saver many a time against a deathclaw.

New Vegas: Anti-materiel rifle, boom! Enough said!

FO1, i tend to vary it a bit. ill stick w the hunting rifle untill it stops being effective.
FO2, ill carry the .223 untill my energy weapons skill is high enough, and ill change to a plasma rifle and finally the gauss rifle.
FOT, i change my characters weapons quite often, to fit the new enemies.
FO3, ill stick to the assault rifle.

Fallout 1: If I got it the Alien Blaster, if not the Turbo Plasma Rifle.

Fallout 2: Copy messed up so I never got to play much of it. Of what I have played, my fists.

Fallout: Tactics: I think I used some kind of assault rifle most of the time. Haven't played Tactics in a while.

Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel: I don't want to talk about it.

Fallout 3: Lincoln's Repeater, A3-21's Plasma Rifle, Gauss Rifle

Fallout: New Vegas: Anti Material Rifle, All American, Dinner Bell, A Light in Shining Darkness, Knock Knock.

In both FO1 and FO2? My trusty sniper rifle. I still have a grudge with the idiot at Black Isle who accidentally made the Bozar an LMG with the big guns skill. I wanted to snipe with that baby, dammit!

FO1: never played unfortunately

FO2: Sharpened spear :P (rat poker)

FOT: AK-47, m1 garand wich i thought was phenomenaly accurate and deadly

Fo1: Gatling Laser.

Fo2: Uh... Mostly Bozar and pulse rifle I think.

FoT: Ak 47... Not like I had a choice... My favs in the end of the game were Gauss minigun and laser rifle though.

Fo3: Exploited Sniper Rifle from OP anchorage and the Bloody mess axe thingy from Point Lookout (my favorite gun was actually the Wazer Wifle but the ash pile bug ruined it for me).

FoNV: Don't really know, I haven't bought the ultimate edition yet so I'm still using the original stuff... Semi-auto rifle and the regular sniper I guess, anti-materiel takes longer to shoot and getting headshots in fallout isn't rocket science.

FO1: Power fist
FO2: Supersledge
FOT: Pancor Jackhammer
FO3: Missile Launcher
FONV: Fire Axe
FO:BOS: lulwhut?

Fallout 1 : 223. pistol + Turbo plasma

Fallout 2 : 223. pistol then winchester plasma / Y-KA .. pulse rifle ( I forgot how was it called exactly)

Fallout Tactics : Browning M2 + pulse rifle

I'm a huge fan of energy weapons so that browning machine gun was a big change :)

Fallout BoS : I haven't really checked what was I playing with :D

Fallout 3 : That special plasma rifle you get from the sheriff in Rivet city :D don't remember it name

Fallout 3 : hunting rifle and wild bills sidearm

Nv: oh baby! War club, protonic inversal axe, plasma caster/smitty special, multiplas rifle
