Muuuuuuuslim Baaaaaan! But don't call it that!

Similar maybe, but it seems Trumps decree was unconstitutional, or are the federal judges simply SJWs? Or worse, brainwashed libtards pushing a leftist agenda? Or could it be, that a federal judge simply knows more than the average guy - which is his job. I mean you really can NOT say that Judge James Robart, is someone that feels like an easily corrupted person.

As a Social Justice Assassin, I think the court system is stacked with shills on both sides. However, the case of this is Trump's ban would have been fine if it had excluded green card members and dual-citizens. America has routinely banned people on racist and bullshit grounds like the Chinese Exclusion Act.

Trump, however, didn't bother to put it past any of his lawyers.

Of course, refugee laws could be invoked but America has a history of ignoring those too.

Yes, they did it and more, the US had also racial segreation at some point, and detention camps based purely on national/racial qualities in WW2 for Japanese citizens. But that doesn't help us now, if we simply go back to point at past stuff like, the US also banned chinese people at some point so this one case should be fine too.

It still doesn't mean what Trump did now, is necessarily constitutional because others might have done the same - or even worse stuff. At which point, do you decide that a law is going to far? Or that something is barely legal? Or that the executive power has gone to far in certain instances? That's why we have the seperation of powers after all, the checks and ballances. Regardless what I think about Trump, and I do agree that Obama got away with a lot of shit, simply because he was 'Obama lord and saviour of the regressive left', but maybe Trump has simply gone one step to far, and the fact that he throws all the time a fucking Tantrum when something doesn't go his way, isn't really helping either. I mean a judge is a person too, and he probably watches TV and gets news information just like everyone else does.

I simply think, the 'right' has to suck this part up, just as how any leftist has to accept that Trump is president.

All I am saying is, I am not a federal judge nor do I have the expertise to say with absolute certainity that Trumps decree was unconstitutional, I mean he (or who ever has written it) consulted the lawayers about it after all - we know that much from Guiliani, I guess in how to make that thing 'legal'. But THAT alone tells us that there was a problem with it right from the begining. I mean there is a reason why you have to study that shit on a university for years.

Rogues are sissy little backstabbers. Social Justice Druid summons his minions!

If Republicans are afraid of Elizabeth Warren, someone slightly less threatening than Mister Rogers, they've finally and truly lost even the appeal of cool evil to being weak wannabe poseur evil.

Afraid of Warren? I wouldn't imagine they would be...she preaches from an ivory tower same as the rest of them.

Are you referring to McConnell interrupting her?

No, the actual vote to silence her on the subject which was passed. The fact they OFFICIALLY CENSORED HER so she couldn't participate in the subject anymore.

God, what a low for democracy.

Afraid of WORDS from Martin Luther King's widow.

Double points that it's just about how the candidate was a racist evil bastard during the Civil Rights era. It's like if today Edwards was called out on being the enormous monster he was, they'd try and cover it up.

Take a deep breath bra, it's a senate hearing, it's base theater at it's worst. Right next to pro-wrestling. It's a show. Kabuki.

As a Social Justice Paladin, I detect Political Incorectness at will, therefore I shall smite thee with words, adding 1d12 to damage
ugh, -2 weapon proficiency for patting yourself on the back too hard.

From what I gather, Warren would have had no problem speaking HER OWN thoughts and MAYBE, reading some excerpts from Kings letter.

The problem appears to be when someone kind of goes on a lengthy diatribe, using words not of their own but from a different source that is already available to be read by individual senators, if they choose to do so.

I mean, I need not be nagged about something that I could easily find on my own time to read.

The issue is the thing she read is specifically relevant to the discussion because Mrs. King was specifically writing about how the individual had helped blocked civil rights. Generally, the silencing was due to the fact it made the Republican nomination of the scumbag look really really bad.

Which DON'T NOMINATE HIM THEN.
