Name a thing you DON'T hate in Fallout 4

I like their approach to power armour and though the fusion cores are a subject of controversy, I understand they were an effort to balance them out and I can see where they were coming from. With a little bit of work, they could have been perfect.

I like most if not all of the enemy designs and that most of them have something unique to them, even if it's only one attack. My only gripe is that they redesigned the mirelurk king; I like the new look, but I also liked the old one.

There's a lot of neat locations and I had a good few hours of fun just exploring the Commonwealth.

I like a fair few of the companions and could really see them being in NV; though most of their backstories are cliched garbage, I like their personalities and how each one is very distinctive. My absolute favourite is Nick, since his history doesn't revolve around a dead loved one (though the fact that he DOES have a dead loved one kind of soils it) and is basically all-round spectacular writing. I also like Deacon, Hancock (though he's a lot better as a mayor) and Curie.

I enjoyed some of the guns; they were basically okay and whilst it's nothing spectacular, the shooting is fine as it is.

I like how clean the game looks and like the graphical style for the most part, though it could use a little more Mad Max-esque themes like Fallout was intended to be.

Despite it being a huge cocktease, I like how the raiders sound a bit more human and do more generally human things, teddybear cosplay notwithstanding.

I enjoy the female voice actor; she's not spectacular and the game was clearly tailed for a male protagonist, but she has fun with the role and her lines are entertaningly sassy.

I really like the concept of Vault 111, I think it was a good starting point.

I like how the T-60 looks.

I like the more creative perks like the intimidation one and the blitz one.

Everything of Inon zur do in this game, badass soundtrack when BoS making entrance with Airship, and very uplifting main menu music that very fitting of fallout core theme: rebuild civilization and let go of the past.

.

even that, the inablity to reason with them just defeat the purpose of making them more human and symphatetic

eeh, dont you know that mad max is crapsack world in steroid? at least in fallout you dont get ocean dried up

They already went with the wasteland theme and occasional dieselpunk, the least they could do is give me decent leather armour.

The world's design is nice for the most part, so there aren't towns that live on one Brahmin alone. The Commonwealth looks beautiful when traversing it and the Glowing Sea has that scenery gorn look to it that I like.

The music is pretty good, I tend to keep the radio off during exploring because it's actually that good in my opinion. For example, The Last Mariner was playing when I first discovered Sunshine Tidings Co-op and the music along with the foggy dusk sun with Professor Goodfeels "Far out" creeped me out a bit, but in a good way.

Collecting and seeing the many magazine covers was a favorite of mine. Building differing kinds of settlements has it's challenges, even if they serve really no purpose other than building stuff. The terminal/note storytelling's pretty good, just a pity the main story and quests aren't up to snuff. Finding unmarked locations can be fun.

Speaking of magazines and comics... Next time you get the chance check their prices bethesda actualy remembered the pre-war inflation. I appreciate that.

And forgot everything else...

But seriously, since Morrowind (especially in Oblivion) has anyone realised that all the good writers or people who get the lore were shafted to small roles?

Such is the punishment for making entertainment that isn't so bland as to appeal to everyone, the good writers are sacrificed at the altar of Zenimax.

Much better gunplay, new mirelurk and insects designs, heavy/bulky feelings of power armors (excluding the stupid "universal" power armor frame and T-60), and no color filters.

I liked the cat pictures. I built this crazy serpentine hallway leading up to the front gate of my compound, and lined it with pictures of fancy felines.

Nobody would ever have suspected the machine gun turrets lying in wait.

Too bad nobody ever attacked it. :(

I guess it was microchosm of just how empty the game was if you did any more than scratch the surface of any goofy aspect of it.
