New Administrators-

welsh

Junkmaster
No Mutants Allowed is going through some transitions and that includes some management changes.

New Administrators include Montez and Per. Montez is a long time member of the community and Per is perhaps best known for his excellent walkthroughs. Both are helping out as we repair the site and plan for expansion. Welcome both!

Sadly Roshambo is no longer an Administrator. He has decided to concentrate on his project. We wish him the best of luck on that and hope to see it sometime in the near future. I am sure I speak for our members when I say that NMA will not be the same without him. Good luck Rosh, we'll miss you.

gratz Monty & Per!

sad to see you go Rosh, hopefully you'll drop by to bash some nuubz from time to time, k?

I've been wondering about this for the last three weeks, and I'm curious about why he chose (if it was even him) the "Fuck You and Goodbye" rank. One wonders if the "More free speech at NMA forums" thread really was an April Fool's joke.

You'd think he wouldn't have gone out with a whimper- though the bang may have been in the moderator forum. Maybe he simply wanted to avoid a Thorgrimm-esque situation.

Well, whatever.

Congratulations and good luck to Montez and Per.

It was, I can assure you. Also, Rosh played along.

The end of an era? I was quite surprised when I saw his new title&avatar.
I tried looking for information, but only found a thread titled "split off from Rosh leaving" not a "Rosh leaving" thread.
I'd also like to know what "his project" is referreing to.
Can someone give me pointers to what's going on?

Same here, looking at the posts he made just before he left I found nothing to indicate him leaving, I assumed it must have been an arguement in the mod rooms. Either way, sucks to see him go, I always looked forward to seeing him rip into people when I saw some idiot Katana post or equivilent crap like that.
I would also like to know what this project is.

Grats to Per and Montez.

I wish I could tell you more about his project, but as it is his project, it is best that he make it public when he wants to. I do know that he's given it considerable time.

Hopefully his project will be a great success but still allow time for him to visit and eventually return. I don't find it strange that Rosh has priorities outside NMA, but you can bet that he's working with our interests in mind, with his dark sense of humour clearly apparent. (No, he isn't trying to bloodily take over Bethesda before Fallout 3 is completed.) I think you can probably make a good guess of his aims if you have frequented these boards, but I'm happy to wait to find out the details.

Montez and Per will do a great job I'm sure and continue the great tradition of prohibiting brain-farting, I mean free speech.

Honestly, I am hoping that Rosh will eventually return to us. He's been a great Admin and we've benefitted from his insights and understanding of the game industry. He has disappeared before and perhaps will return- probably to blast Bethsoft if they fuck Fallout 3 to death.

So, in about a year then?

In a year? NOOOOOOOOOOO!

I can't wait that long. Rosh was my pal. We co-ordinated our bashing of people at Obsidian together the way women co-ordinate their... er... nothing.

I miss you Rosh.

Congrats Montez and Per.

No seriously why is he gone?

So whats so different about Per 'n Montez being administrators now? Is it really any different from a moderator?

Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

A bit more authority I guess, and an ability to do a little more on the site.

And another bit of appreciation. IMO.

You want to be careful, soon enough you'll have too many cheifs and not enough indians (with respect to Admins and Moderators).

We're assuming, based on experience, that the number of Indians on the warpath will increase on a steep curve from a few months from now until at least a while after Fallout 3's release.

Better to have your sheeps on dry land, in preparation.
