New animations 2

Suggestion: get the combat armor helmet, make it metalic and add it to the tesla armor. Add a small yellow dot in the chest of said armor, to represent that lightning symbol.
 
Here's another re-colour; (an NPC) female brown CA (for mercenaries or some faction or whatever):

--- --- --- --- --- --- ---

- It has all the basic animations: movement (A), death (B), get up (C) and dead (R), and

- 3 weapon sets: knife (D), rifle (J) and Big-gun (K).

I thought this is kind of complete set when female critter's done, but, as you're saying, probably not... (some animations are missing, or helmet/non helmet grey buddy?)

Anyway, YES, why not. For us, your work actually came across just in time.

And I hope you'll grab a ghoul critters to improve/enhance one fine day. :smug:
 
I salute you x'il :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute: …critter building is a form of torture, but it never stops you from making excellent new critters. Now new mutants would be a welcomed find…we all love mutants.

Yeah, i've also wanted to do something there (a few pages back on this thread you'll see some gif's of a dual-minigun wielding super mutant, but i never finished that), but don't really get any "exciting" ideas... do you have any ideas for some mutant editing? relatively simple but doable, interesting stuff?
 
Hey x'il - great work with all these new animations; really looking forward to seeing them in-action in-game =]

Apologies if this has been covered previously, but I was wondering if you had plans to create animations for your avatar (Armoured Vault Suit I'm guessing?) at all? Having it as the default player model would certainly make it stand out from all the folks in 13 & Vault City :)

currently, interplay maked only:

-Punching and kicking...
-SMG shot and Burst...
-Knife...
-Spear...

It will be funny to see Sulik whit a plasma gun :)

I have to disagree here, Sulik was meant to use the attacks in question (Punching and kicking... SMG...Knife...Spear) and wasn’t designed to be a weapon expert in every class. He is a tribal, not a Vault City merk or NCR guard. If you study the SMG animation and compare it to the other critters, Sulik can barely control the weapon. He fires it wildly in all directions, and that’s what makes Sulik so special…the same can be said of Myron, Lenny, Davin…

I totally agree that it was surely intended as part of Sulik's character that he CAN'T use all weapons. It was IMO almost certainly a decision made by BIS to make the NPC's seem more human and limited rather than, as Pixote says 'mercs or generic guards'.

incidently Killap stated he agrees with this as the original intention of BIS in the RP thread.

Unfortunately, it'd be too much work, maybe sometime in the future after i clear a bunch of other stuff i have pending, who knows?

Some nice ideas there, i specially liked these ones:

* Alternatively, a ghoul in combat helmet?

as they could yield somewhat interesting result and are feasable.

But actually i was thinking more along the lines of ideas for super-mutants.

People don’t build the SMG flamer it’s been completed. Every SMG wielding critter has been fixed. The previous fixed critters used the normal flamer flame (without the shadow) - I found the length of the flame too long so I downscaled it and added the shadow to the flame. This is meant to be a small hand held flamer not a typical flame thrower. It should be found in the up and coming RP 2.0.

Again Sulik demonstrates his talent with the noisy weapons…I will complete all of the new critters (NPC’s, etc) after RP 2.0 is released.

I was involved with that, but knew from the start i wouldn't have enough free time to stick with the project till its completion. We were hoping other people would pick it up since fonline has so many players and so many of them were asking for new critters.

We did quite a few animations as you can see here http://fonlineskinproject.freeforums.org/the-tribal-skin-male-t6.html , but a lot more need to be done and i just don't have the time for it right now. I hope none of the frms are lost so we can post them here, maybe someone can use them.

It would be great for TC's where the main char is not a vault dweller
 
Mr. Bog can you zip the files and pass them to me I am willing to finish the rest of the critters (x'il and Josan12 are you interested in helping). Was this an attempt to give tribal’s more weapon choices? Based on what has been already finished this project is very achievable.
