New animations 2

Regarding Nirran's animation - I think a little less blood would be better, but maybe that's just me being a pu##y :)

Hey Ghouly when we start Mr. Blackie (...) it will mean Miss Red Head will have to be put on the back burner for a while. (...)

Call me a racist, but I'd rather have miss Redhead playable first.

I am aware someone was making a redhead critter based on the original blackhead.

If ghouly's making a vault13 based redead we should team up.

Yes, I am using the Vault 13 model. Also, I have already gotten two people to team up with me, but neither seem to be on the ball anymore...

How's about you and I team up to finish the vault suit set? I want to see at least one armor type done before starting on other armors :P

Miss Redhead will take longer to finish IMO (there are a lot of animations missing the most basic movements, such as weapons), Mr. Blackie can be done a lot more quickly because we will use Mr. Baldie as the basic critter to work from. Each frame will need two PS actions, I made an AVI demonstrating what will be involved somewhere on this thread, I think no:2 was the skin tone of choice. After I tidy up some lose ends at Mutants Rising I will start a new thread dedicated to Mr. Blackie, and get the ball rolling.

@Ghouly - nice work.

Well personally I would like to see a blondie vault girl (seen some pic somewhere around the forum don't remember where) though I happy to see the redhead fallout needs more female hero critters, about the black dude I would make it from the regular dude that way the metal armor would need less work though there is a chance and I misunderstanding something but I think recoloring the bald dude would be real slow compared to the normal here which was almost done previously.

Little playing around the mini robot from Van buren concept arts but a little reworked and a female critter in the making progress yeah the head is huge will solve it as soon as the legs done the other one has all the basic renders now I just need to pack em together...

Quite a big step I guess a female critter is soon to be ready for animation I checked out the legs and now making them smaller close to the bottom one at the left also started to create the weapons and a blood pool animation for death but that one is pretty lame at the moment anyway except the shadows I think it will be good
I was thinking about just simply editing my previous post but as I said its quite a big step at least I think btw I wanted to ask if I should dig up one of the 3d threads and post these there instead of the new animation thread though I plan to make at least one fully finished critter with all or most of the anims but its not really a traditional copy paste or recolor work. About the little robot I posted I think in a week it would be finished.

Thanks here is some progress girl textured and boned (for now she looks like a vault girl in a bit brighter cloths), also I reworked the previous robot I posted and made a new one which not actually mine idea at least I think so but I can't remember where the idea have come to my mind, strange but there are so many stuff we see and without remembering all of them we implement them to our own ideas...

Ahh... This reminds me of my beginnings with the creation of the girl critter. I would suggest fixing the model geometry before rigging it, this model looks bulky in some places and tight in others. Though, as a testing model, it is perfect. Keep up, you're on the right track!

I remember that critter she ended up good. About the geometry issue it doesn't really matter since sculpt tool can solve the basic problems relatively fast though about the bulkiness you are right I'm trying to correct it now also I just had an idea not sure if it would be possible to implement but Josan had an idea to change the choosenone when he/she has the bruiser / small frame trait could this bulkier girl be one with a bruiser trait just a random idea though if it happens then there should be a whole set tribal, vault suit, leather jacket....
Anyway here is a new pic and I wanted to ask if the robot critter would be usable for anyone if not I won't brother myself with that but concentrate only the female char

Your best bet about the hero appearance with the bruiser/small frame perks would be Mash or Timeslip. Though, you are right - it would take a while before we would be able to see all bruiser/small frame character animation sets finished.

I'd personally rather like to see some new awesome organic matter than another one metalo-plastic spaghetti-cabled short-circuit beeper-critter. Maybe it's just me.

I guess then I'm gonna go with a basic female look first and as I think back you are right there have been quite a lot of robot critter but quite a few (3d) normal humanoid, anyway I'll start putting together the basic poses for the females (keyframes for idle anims walking...etc) since the body can be easily sculpted though I think its quite ok now.
