New animations 2

Two new animation has been built for the Temple of Trials - the Tribal knife and Tribal hammer animations. If you happen to come across a hammer or a knife in the Temple, the game wont crash, and the PC can happily go around stabbing or crushing ants and scorpions...as for the Tribal SMG version, he is still being built, but obviously there will be no such weapon found in the Temple. Its been tested in game and works perfectly. Later will come the Long Hair and Bald versions...:wink:

Hey guys. Inspired by your great animations, i've tried to do something by myself, this is my first critter...

I really liked the description of Johny, son of Balthas in F2, there was something like "blonde hair, blue eyes, typical all-american looking kid" but there are no blond skin, so i decided to improve old one.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Looking good. Any children/ghouls/peasant critters are especially welcome. Perhaps to further distinguish the kid you could repaint his shirt or pants to some other colour?

TBH, I've never had any problem with telling Jonny from the rest - after all he was the only one with dialogue, and he is standing right in front of you when you enter the underground lake map. However, I did have some problem with remembering his father's name when I first talked to Jonny :?

In any case, a blond kid could be used in any of the mods for the sake of adding variety (if not for some specific quest).
 
The Vault Tribal now has the SMG animation...of course you'll never get a SMG in the Temple of Trials, but someone might find it useful in a mod. I need to finish the death sequences next... :roll:

I wish that the tribal dudez might use all weapons types... :D

And by the way, I was wondering about a new animation, a full set of the Leather armor... BLACK!

Because of the guy who welcomes you at the enter of Broken Hill, he say "You see a man in black leather armor"...

These new critter FRM's will allow the Tribal critter you play at the Temple of Trials the ability to use Knife - Hammer - and SMG animations, also included are the missing death animations that BlackIsle conveniently left out. Copy these files into the Fallout2/data/art/critters folder. New Tribal Critter Animations. (The Temple of Trials map in the Restoration Project will be adjust to allow at least one new weapon possibility). :wink:
