New animations 2

Does any1 is interested in helping me about that irokezdude idea ?
x'il is retired from sprite editing. I need some technical hand/help from expierianced modder/graphic/spirte editor. Unfortunatelly im lowskilled in such stuff so experiance of some other person would be crucial here. If this task is doable I would like to give it a try. I got now some basic knowledge from tutorials (lisac thx). The idea is to rework baldude files.

It's a BIS fuckup - there are plenty of them, especially with critter death sequences. Just crop it in Photoshop and reposition it in the Frame Animator. I alway fix these problems when I work on new critters. All it does is make the files slightly larger... :roll:

Isn't easier to use autocutting feature in Frame Animator (it's ON by default)? ;)

And makes copy&pasta more time consuming - without crop to the smallest possible rectangle you wouldn't waste time for reposition after adding additional pixel(s) to original frame "borders". Or at least I think so... never tried it in practice... oh well... tried it, but not much thus I won't say it for sure... meh... also, IIRC I had problems with animated scenery (animforever script) where each frame has been cut to smallest possible rectangle (object was drifting through whole map with each repeat of its animation sequence). To get rid off this funny behavior I needed to disable autocutting feature in Frame Animator. Perhaps it was related to first and the last frame having different dimensions, but I didn't investigate the problem further. That was big oil pump, which later I replaced with cheap rip (without flip) from FOT (FRM was a heavy weight monster, something like 1.6MB).
 
Okay so as we all know there's the option in (Megamod?) to start as blond hair lady, black man etc and a little extra option for this in character creation.

Where's the thread on this? I would like the code so that I can (eventually) implement this into Fallout FIXT (Fallout 1 engine).

Huh, that's odd. Personally I've been using iZArc for the last few months (AWESOME app) but I've used WinRAR and 7-zip in the past.

Anyway I just downloaded the file and opened it just fine using WinRAR Unplugged v3.9.0.1 -- maybe update your version? Not sure :scratch:
 
Anyone feel like making the Knife animation sets for x'il's Khan and Black Evil Cassidy critters?

Sometimes there's a single pixel in the corner that prevents the auto-cutting working properly. :(
 
The desert combat armor looks great. I'll steal it to dress some of my Gravediggers. Thank you for sharing it!
 
Unfortunately my darkred irokez idea was too much for me. As u posted here is to much work manualy one frame by one.
Luckly I found something new which is cool too :D
War Tribal skin whos haircut is in irokez-style.
I made so simple work (ctrl+c -> ctrl+v) and this is first result:

No other way will work as well, I'm afraid. Welcome to the critter club. :mrgreen: It's slow and tedious, and it will make you question the meaning of life. I have a tutorial that might help speed up the process. Great critter by the way.

I have a problem with my animation:

I launched it on server and when I change direction of walk my character "flips" for few hexes. It doesnt turn in the same place into new direction but is 'teleported" few hexes.

as u can see here the starting point of animations here are different.
So when I change my walk direction new animations start is "moved" few hexes (from the place animation start)

I hope u understand my problem.
Do u know how to deal with it ?


EDIT!!!!!:

I found out what was wrong: I believe during the coversion thru formats, offsets wen mad. I reset em all to 0 value and now its all working corectly. :D
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the black mohawk in metal armor male character we can see on the last posts already exists, right? Isn't Sulik in last RP version very similar when wearing a metal armor? :oops:
 
yep head is the same but:

1- soolik dont use boots , have bare feats
2- have wierd "tribal style" crossing-belts on his chest and back
3- head in those animation is pasted "automaticly" (its the same 1 head for each frame in animation) so it does look a little bit unrealistic like animated corpse with some jpg on top
 
I will not allow this to stay near the bottom of first page (or out of it, which would be even worse). Up you go!

hi im new here and i just started playing fallout series 2 mos ago...and i liked it far more than the new rpg's around today...then i stumbles upon these...i dl them all and i dunno where to put them in the fallout directory..help pls and thank u very much...this is a nice site keep up the good work..
