In fact at least for the classic vault jumpsuit it's Fallout, since Lynette has already a hooded vault jumpsuit:
But that doesn't make the (ingame) critter look less dorky.
Obviously, the talking heads born outta clay models are somewhat different in comparison with the game sprites rendered in (presumably Lightwave) 3D software. This is why I have to agree with Lexx.II Snake II said:

One thing you might need to consider - the models should be stripped of any unnecessary details, the original models are deceptively simple, it was their animations that were so beautifully executed. So the true character comes from their movement, rather then the critter itself. Your model and animation look very promising.

Excuse me if this is rude though, but isn't this already done? I have like five modified CA gfx on my PC, pretty sure at least one of them is desert type.
I don't know what everyone's fascination with modding the CA look is honestly, i've always thought the stock green one looks the best.
