New animations 2

You guys are crazy. Intelligent raccoons are excellent. I could see them battling the devious molerats for supremacy. Molerats and ghouls versus Procyonids.

Not as good as an intelligent possum or armadillo, though.
 
I'm confused, I have the unpacked data files of several Fallout versions and none of them have this file at all. I assumed it was a fix like the human male metal armor hammer thrust fix. However, the only folders on my entire drive that have this file are FIXT folders.

So it seems that in vanilla Fallout, black guys couldn't run at all?

@Drobovik -- is it possible to rename some of those files in your Critter Art database, and specifically the folders? Naming is clear for the most part but some are really vague and hard to understand. Here's the link, if you would kindly host and provide your link so that I can remove mine. Thank you <3

I downloaded the file. Is it only the one direction run, not a pack? So I can name it right.

Well... yeah. Which is why someone created the running animation fix, which is shown above.

No, it's multi-directional. The extension is FRM, meaning it contains all 6 directions. It's only 1-direction-only if it's a numeric extension, as follows:

FR0 - right and up (northeast)
FR1 - right (east)
FR2 - right and down (southeast)
FR3 - left and down (southwest)
FR4 - left (west)
FR5 - left and up (northwest)
 
Hi x'il, is your mod fully compatible with RP, and if not, do you have any plans to make it work properly in the future ?
 
If you mean the character graphic changing thing, it is included in the RP.

No plans to make it a standalone mod sorry. As Lexx says, it's included in the RP so i'd recommend playing it that way.

Do NPCs ever use the Climbing Ladder or Climbing Stairs animations?

Ian, Tycho, Myron, Cassidy, etc.

I'm pretty sure they don't but I don't know for 100% sure...
 
They don't, because they never use ladders. It's the player who performs the map change, never any of the NPCs in the game.
 
Today I was curious about a few things, so I gathered the breakdown of frames-per-second of playback speed for all running animations in Fallout 1. The results are pretty interesting.

Human power armor (but only with the helmet) runs slower (18), human female runs faster (22) but ONLY in leather or jumpsuit (but not in leather jacket which should be lighter than leather), and dog's FPS is very low (14). Makes sense now why Dogmeat runs so slow, I always hated that. Anyone who runs all crazy waving their hands in the air is slow (16) with the except of the one guy whose 10FPS. Not sure what's going on with him. Rest are all 20.
