New poll: Did you buy Fallout: BoS

"Didn't buy, didn't play, but would if I had the chance"
I don't have PS2, but if I had, I would probably buy it if it was below 5$.

I don't have a PS2 either, I'm kinda surprised that I'm not the only one in the world that doesnt own a console newer than the N64.

If I magically found a PS2 and POS hooked up in my room, I'd play it just to see the NMA credit. ;)

O.O

I couldn't even stand 10 minutes of the first DA game, it grated against every PnP bone in my body, as for BoS, I hadn't even heard of it until I came here, and even then when I saw it later on without even hearing anything pro or con about it except it being called PoS I didn't touch it, something just didn't sit right with me about the game.

Well, I was just in a game store one day and saw it, and was like, good lord, fallout, that was a fun game years ago, this HAS to be good.

So I bought it.

About half an hour into the game I was sort of, wait, what's going on here, this is Dark Alliance.

I thought it would pick up when it got to the world travel screen, except that didn't exist.

But...I was bored, and wanted to see it to the end, so I completed it.

So I would go for the, "Bought it, completed it, traded it in".

I don't have a console, don't know anyone who has a console, and would never rent a console.
Renting a console is like renting a dildo. Only the dildo hasn't online gameplay...

I reserved it, bought it full price, played through the ENTIRE game, beat it, set it aside, and still have vivid dreams of the awesome times I had.

I basically just separated myself from past Fallout games and just played it as though it was something new. The quicker you get past the fact that it's a crappy Fallout game, the faster you'll come to see that's a good post nuclear shooter game.

All hail Fallout: Best of Series! Co-op feature was pretty sexy. Also, I enjoyed FOT more than F1&2 combined.

*drives around in BoS Hummer running Raiders and dogs over*

We all have different opinions on what makes a good game. I'm sure there are things you have played, that I wouldn't have even paid $1 for.

Basically what I'm getting at, is why people who have purchased this game must be persecuted? Some people hate tomatoes, but I personally love them. Do I go around telling them to kill themselves? No. To each his own.

I think you should prefer GTAIV rather than Fallout 3...

I remember renting it and playing it for about 5 minutes.
That's it.

I got rid of my consoles a year ago. Even my brandnew Wii. I also sold about 90% of my computergames, keeping only Arcanum, Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics, Commandos 2, AoE2 + expansion and AoE3 + expansion. 'T was time to grow up.

Heh, this sounds exactly like how I felt with Tactics. I can hardly remember anything about it anymore, except meeting some random guy I could talk to. My hopes for awesome and exciting side-quests were rising by the nanosecond and then he just said something like "Could you go fetch my glasses?"

Given FO3's direction, we all should. ;)

Freind rented it and brought it over.

We played for about an hour and I just got sick to my stomach.

They should have called it Fetch Quest, a post nuclear game.

It was a console game, and as we all know, console games suck.
So, hell no I didn't buy it. I don't even own a console.
you are obviously wrong

generalizing like that is stupid because it's wrong. There were really good console games (golden eye 007, time splitters 2, micromachines 64 turbo, some game called vigilante or sth like that, just to name some)

Brother None: after this poll do one that asks: "Will you buy Fallout 3" you can use much the same options.

You'd need to add at least "No, because I don't have a computer that can run it" and "Yes, in a few years when it's released on budget along with two expansions and free horse armour". That's pretty much where I am, anyway.

Or a:

Yes, I have a 360 so who the hell cares about specs! *dance naked*

Dancing naked is optional, but I recommend it.
