New screenshots

I like the cut of Oh Snap!'s jib.

when you parrot the same tired arguments that we've been hearing for more than a year now, it makes us less inclined to care about what you think, as we can tell right off the bat, that you haven't done your homework.

Exactly.

I remember when the first batch of fly-by messiahs came around here and used the exact same arguments as some of the people who show up now.

It was funny, it still is funny and it will continue to be funny to hear how we're oh so wrong about Fallout 3.[/quote]

Yawn. You don't want to understand, do you? The reasons for "our" bias against Bethsoft have already been presented to you. Several times. What do you want to achieve, anyway? I mean, your point is, obviously: we are "nitpicking" by pointing out flaws in the screenshots. Flaws like "absolutely no shadows" and "identically damaged houses right next to each other". That's not nitpicking, that's what I call valid criticism. You just don't expect such things in a forthcoming big-budget game. Waiting 'til the game is released won't help here, since I seriously doubt they'll ever fix those things.
You also fail to notice that there were some positive voices, too. The Vertibird looks pretty cool, for starters.

I'm biased against Fallout 3 in the same way that I'm biased against drinking urine; I've never drank urine, but I'm fairly certain that it would be an unenjoyable experience.

Sorry pal, can't judge it if you haven't done it.

I do, however, clearly understand that the consumption of it is generally done due to either desperation or perversion. But that's enough about FO3. Let's get back to the topic of drinking urine.

[fake agreement with Bowser] that's true, my friend. how do you know you wouldn't like the urine? you can't judge piss-drinking until you actually drink piss.

and likewise, you cannot judge a game you haven't played even if it's being put out by a company who've been gradually dumbing down RPG's and churning out buggy games with horrible dialogue and AI. added to this...if you've seen screenshots, demos, interviews or reviews...you cannot comment negatively on anything you see, since you don't really know, because you are not playing the game. you would have no way of actually forming an educated guess as to the contents of said game based on any of these aforementioned factual events. furthermore x 2, in no way could you be upset or angry at bethesda's lack of canon-following in the art department, story department, weapon department or humor department. please, you cannot have opinions about these things. [/end fake agreement with Bowser]

Wait, huh?

I mean, you do realise there's no such thing as a completely unbiased person, right?

Besides, our bias is one of viewpoints primarily. We are biased towards Fallout being a traditional RPG as the series was started, just like the mainstream media is biased towards first-person-view.

A certain dislike of Bethesda certainly grew from that bias, but at the basis it is just an opinion
