New Skyrim's E3 demo looking quite...

they should. If it means we can skip the next 1 year of hype, press and lieing reviews. Then yes. Just make it all now. :P

I really look as this in the same way as Oblivion. I think it's going to be good. I was told it's going to be good. I'm going to be bored, see Oblivion.

I suggest that we only speak in hushed voices (or small font) about this upcoming masterpiece and refer to it as "award-winning Skyrim".

My most pressing question for now is: will they include the horsearmor in the retail version or do we have to wait for it again? I would ask this at the bethsoft forums of course, but my account got hacked.

We should speak about it like the kids do on Harry Potter about Voldemord.

Of course not, this is Skyrim. It'll only have Dragonhorse Armor. (Remember when talking about award-winning Skyrim, you need to add Dragon- to everything because it has infinite dragons.)

I heard you can be anyone you want, go anywhere you want and do anything you want in this game! You can also look at plants, micro detail and macro detail, shit like that yo. C'mon guys, this is gonna be awesome.

You know. That is awesome. No seriously. I mean it.

Infinite Dragons :D

that kinda sticks

Though to say this. I really REALLY hope Bethesd ... no Todd ... have a bit more in their brain then just "HURRR DURRR, IMA BIGGG DRAGGGON YOU HAVE DA KILL!" stuff. Because honestly. Was that not done already to death 10 years ago ? Even back then people got bored from it.

Dont make them ALL vilains/evil creatures without any mind. Or if you have to. Make them at least "interesting". Give them a culture. Personality. SOMETHING. ANYTHING!.

Knowing Bethesda though ... I doubt that is what will happen. But hope for the best. Expect the worst ...

Wait there are going to be infinite dragons? Just like there were infinite super mutants? Yeah, I don't think I'm gonna waste money on this. If there's an unlimited number of them then it means they're going to be ridiculously easy to kill.

I'm gonna let ya'll finish but Morrowind is one of my favorite games of all time. I also fairly enjoyed Oblivion, although it had a shit load of massive problems. In fact, I didn't think it was that horrible until I played Morrowind (overhype doesn't really matter to me, personally as well).

I was able to enjoy it for what it was so I will play Skyrim even if it is EXACTLY like Oblivion. I will complain and I will hate on Bethesda for not making it what I will have hoped it would be but I will play it and I will enjoy parts of it. That doesn't mean that I can't hope that it is a good RPG or that it is somewhat Morrowind-like. Oblivion's combat was one of those massive problems and it is a huge bummer that it is coming back. Morrowind's combat wasn't that great either so the game is still not ruined for me but damn do I hate when games with huge potential don't live up to it.

Morrowind had it's atmosphere. I enjoyed tiny bits of info about Dunmer lands. Everything felt "special" and nice in a way.
With Oblivion I lost that feeling. Maybe some moments felt fine, but rest of the game was just... plain and boring?

And Skyrim? I would love to see 5-10 huge dragons which are powerful and should be taken care of with a group instead of hundreds of flying lizards attacking things randomly. Cliff racers, anyone?
Combat looks like the same shit as Oblivion. Only change is that dual wielding thing (Which is actually nice. But I bet it will be overused.) and sneaky attacks. I was always more into stealthy assasin-type of characters, so it might actually work damn fine with my playstyle.
One thing which might help with Bethesda's fault is their impressive modding community. Of course not countin' furfags, futas and people who have to stroke the german helmet in front of their PC's.

I don't get the big deal about the dual-wielding. Couldn't you already use spells while you were holding a weapon in Oblivion? I know it wasn't like Bioshock where you actually had to switch over to your magic hand, so what's the difference between this and Oblivion? That it shows two hands on the screen instead of one?

Edit: Dual-wielding weapons is an improvement though, although I'm not sure how useful it will be.

Of course you could, but this time its a new feature you know? Back then the fact that if you were holding a weapon while using a spell the animation showed a weapon too was just common sense. But now its a PR-decision to make the game more immersive. I heard rumours that they want to include sky in TESVI, real sky this time.

Dualwielding is stupid and i wish not everyone would feel the need to include it. The only useful way is an offhand weapon for parrying (dagger at most) and as distraction, so the oppenent has to keep an eye on it. Offhandparrying was done with mods in oblivion, as are so many thing. All this "dualwield-two-longswords while jumping around" is asking fo a terminal shavingaccident. I blame DnD for this one.

I enjoyed Morrowind too. It was not perfect but very entertaining and well done. Oblivion is an abomination that is saved by mods. Skyrim... we will see, though i will only touch it a few years after release when the modders had a good go at it. If the modability is crap, i wont bother even then.
