We have gotten ahold of a couple of new concept art images from Van Buren/Fallout 3, these feature Vault 69 and a couple of vehicles, have a looksie:<blockquote><center> </center></blockquote>Nice eh..
 
As cool as that looks, Vault 69 ???? Did Chuckie do some guest artwork on that one?

How were they intending to use the mounted guns, btw? Just a usuable weapon on a map or what? Did you have to assign someone to man it?

It looks to me like there's a seat at the back of that gun, so it had to be manned by someone.

Loving the art-work. But that Vault 69 poster is all wrong; Vault Tec wouldn't have tipped their hands before the bombs dropped by revealing that there was going to be something different about one of their Vaults. It goes against the whole idea of the dastardly Vault Tec experiement.
 
I just got confirmation, Tim did write the doc for Vault 69.. one man, 999 women..

An interesting idea. And I like the artwork. That game would have kicked ass. I bet Bethesda won't have any humour, any smart dialogues, any originality... just wasteland.
 
Actually, these concepts are bad for my mental stability, because looking at them makes me go crying to my momma for Van Buren.
Well - I guess you can't have everything in your life.
 
Hopefully the Beth Dev's lurking are taking notes, reading through the other forums, and getting a feel for what makes Fallout, well, Fallout.

Let's also hope that they're reading the various faqs, bibles, histories, etc, and getting a feel for the world.

I remember reading a story on the general forum... some guy was kidnapped by a lesbian colony and they pumped his penis for sperm... I don't remember the details but it definitely didnt' sound like heaven. I'm sure some of you other guys remember it better than i do.

Is that female chick the one from J.E's old desktop from back in the day?

Also, how does that concept art reveal the secret of the vaults? No where does it mention the quirks of the vault. I would assume they would advertise the vaults so that people would apply for vault citizenship.
