Minecraft, at the current time, is only worth it as a party game in servers like Hypixel, Minecube, Shotbow, etcetera. The top ones. They have some amazing fun minigames at that.
The alternative is community servers, ESPECIALLY with plugins (add currency, customizable plots, jobs, diferent "worlds"...). Building shit is actually interesting becouse, look at that, people compete by building, WHICH IS THE ENTIRE POINT OF THE GAME, and have more to do like founding towns and controlling territory. Depending on which it can be more or less MMO-y.
Now if you like PvP... What are you doing here? Autistic ten year olds can access the site now?
I'd have been all up for it a year ago or more (I own both normal Minecraft and W10 edition, as the latter is free when having the first), but now I have more interesting sandbox/survival games to play, like The Long Dark and Starbound. All up for some minigames, though.
EDIT: Oh and of course the eventual good adventure map! Creeper Quest is my favourite ever, I don't care if it has no command blocks or nothing like that.
